Of course, the posts and comments are owned by the poster, so the poster (Kenshin) can do what he likes with them, I guess.
Or does that mean the posts are owned by the poster, and the comments are owned by the posting commentator?

censorship is the government making laws. asking "why are you saying Frost Frost" isn't censorship. havign codeslave banning you from his site (if he does that) also isn't censorship. since he's not the government.

If censorship is "the government making laws," then parents who lobby libraries to have books like "Tom Sawyer" removed isn't censorship.
Try again.

if the library removes it, then the government is removing a book from a library, since usually governments run libraries. and the parents are trying to get the government to remove the book. therfore they are tryign to censor it.

1. Censorship is the prevention of the spread of information. It does not have to be by governments. Parents preventing their kids from reading Penthouse is technically censorship.
2. Censorship is not, on its face, bad, even when practiced by the government. The classification of nuclear secrets is censorship, and most would agree that's not bad.

Censorship is simply the act of censoring.
To censor is to make deletions or changes to something, or to examine printed matter (as well as other things) and to suppress any parts based on the grounds of obscenity (as well as other things).
You don't have to be the government to be a censor.
If John Hargrave started going through our posts and removing ones he didn't like and changing the language of others, it would be censorship. This is not difficult to understand.

The point is that Codeslave doesn't seem to me to be the type of person to question anyone's "free speech," even the free speech he doesn't like.
That's why I told you to look at his Ribbon-O-Matic comments.
Also, if "the posts and comments are owned by the poster," i.e., the person who posted the original post, Kenshin has the right to do whatever he likes about them (even censor them if he will, since he "owns" them), but you also have the right to post whatever you want as well.

Of course, if all things are owned by the person who posted them, Kenshin doesn't have the right to censor them.
That's why I asked what exactly "all posts and comments are owned by the poster" means.
I have a feeling that it means that the original poster owns the post and all comments.

I fully expected the posts to be removed. I'm surprised they're still there at all.
As for me being childiShakespearehink I was more bored than anything, and thought to myself "Kenshin's flooded GAB before, so why don't I flood his weblog. That'll be fun for about 15 seconds."
And it was. For about 15 seconds.

Posts are not owned by the person who posts them.
Gab on Zug is run on a webserver registered by John Hargrave. Codeslave's Blog machine is run by, and paid for, by Tim. He has the right to change, delete, or censor anything posted there.
The only rights we have are to post or not to post. It is our choice.

To clarify: comments and posts are owned by the poster. That means that no one can profit off of them or claim them as their own. However, anyone with a blog or board has the power to remove any post they find offensive or disruptive, like flooding a blog with inappropriate or even off-topic comments. Ownership of the blog supercedes ownership of a comment, and ownership of a site supercedes ownership of a blog.
People screamed bloody murder when Walrus started all of those "Ok, goodnight Ted" threads, right? How is this any different at all?
Sorry, Chouggy, I've fixed that & sent you email.

Fair enough, if you own the blog and its components (including comments) you have the right to change them or remove them.
Of course, other people commenting still have the right to post whatever comments they like, even if they're going to get changed or removed later.
That's why I didn't complain when Kenshin censored my comments. They're his. If he wants to be a childish bastard who sticks his fingers in his ears when he hears something he doesn't like, that's his business.

I have worked very hard on my weblog, I can easily delete your posts but That's almost pointless. The GAB community is most likely to post comments like this. But most of my viewers are from rpgfan.com boards, So I will ask kinndy, don't waste your time, quit it.

The banner? The back ground? The text color? It was all done by me with help from codeslave and alot of tinkering. Look at the sourse I'm using now (right click, view source) I'm not using any of what you helped me with. Sorry, but you gotta face that facts, Plus, why are you trying to take credit for what little work I have to be proud of?

d8uv, you had NOTHING to do with my weblog, look at it, I'm not using your silly css thing, I'm using MY text file that I made from scratch called "Joeys GOOD html.txt". I had help from you yes, but I only used your help for a day or so, and then went back to MY OWN html.
Don't Frost-ing take credit for something you had nothing to do with.
