My GAB thesis:
Once there was a website called "Computer Stew" and it was good. Many people found a home at this unique virtual land and formed friendships and began to evolve. Then along came "Zug" which in turn, birthed the baby we all know and love as GAB.
I've noticed that within the community that is GAB, there are many different classes, or groups if you will.
QTA: A militant gay group, determined to recruite unsuspecting Gabbers into their world of alternative living. It is often believed by this group that anyone can be converted!!
The Sages: This would include the ones who are seemingly well educated and love to inform the general GAB public of various social/economic issues, that are important (either to them or in general). Also who have come to to find themselves well respected among most other groups. Sometimes, a few stray 'rebel QTA'members overlap into this group but are soon kicked out and sent back to their 'own kind'.
The Loose Cannons: Those in this group tend to go off without any warning. A random comment, not having anything to do with the topic at hand, wild fantasy like ramblings which are most of the time, funny. These minions tend to surface mainly at night or early in the morning.
These are just a few of the observations I've made in my first year at GAB. I believe that sometimes there is a skew in the time/space continuum in relation to realities and misconceptions of internet socialization. What other groups will surface? What other friendships will be forged?
For instance, I'm really a tall, overweight, bald black man with webbed feet.

I'm not gay, smart, or loose.
I'm straight, stupid, and moderately difficult to bed.

I'm in a group of my own. It's the "been on GAB for a year, but still considered a newb and not yet fully respected" group.
