Pekin, IL. Named for Peking, China, our high school mascot was the Pekin Chink. The homecoming king and queen were Chink and Chinklette. There was a giant Chinaman that ran around on our football field during games.

Beat that.

And you're proud of this?

Sad.

My father's high school was the "Tar Babies."

I think they changed it to Tigers in the 70s.

Not so much that it's funny haha, but more of a "you're not serious?"

Liberal Unfriendly Place: Peoria, IL

From the Pekin, Il link. I find this hilarious, especially because about 80% of the gay men in Chicago grew up in Peoria. Something in the water there, I guess.

We're the Natick Redmen.

I don't know how long it will last. It's not PC to have an indian name unless you're a casino. The Mass Turnpike had to take the arrow out of the pilgrim hat on their logo.

They'd save money on uniforms, with them being old sweatpants and sleeveless white t-shirts.

I asked C to pick me up some throw-away undershirts for my argentina trip in January. She accidentally bought ribbed, v-neck tank tops.

I told her I would wear them, but I would have to hit her each time.

It didn't fit really seeing as how all of us were criminals

I'm from SC. We make Alabama look progressive.

My school mascot was the Gamec0ck. Always abbreviated "c0ck."

We have bumper stickers that say "You can't lick our C0cks!" and "Our c0cks are too hard to beat!"

Stuby, one of my co-workers also went to USC. She has a gamec0ck garter for her wedding.

How did some of you people have so many mascots?

High school: Cavaliers/Cavalettes

College: Falcons

Work: Blue Devils (which I find amazingly funny considering this used to be a religious school)

Grad school: Hokies (officially the Fighting Gobblers)
