Coffee , those names that you listed also turn all their owners into sluts.

Sheela takes the cake here. Britteny is pretty close.

Last name first names:

Hunter

Harrison

Cooper

And the one that I see more and more often lately...

Dakota

The hospital should make parents sign paperwork stating that the child will not be named Dakota and should refuse to release the newborn until said papers have been signed.

I've liked P. G. Wodehouse books for years partly because of the ridiculous names most of the female characters have. What makes it funny is that these are "real" names and were extensively used early in the century. How some of them survived to this day is beyond me.

Male names made female:

Willemina

Henrietta

Cornelia

Hortencia

To me the whole catagory is a sign of laziness. If it was a boy we were going to call her Henry but I guess Henrietta will do...

My all time favorite is Murgatroid. This particular great aunt is a horrible old woman but with parents evil enough to call her that who can blame her.

The men don't have it all easy either. I man Gaylord may have worked in the 19th century but would be a very unfortunate name today.

Guess I shouldn't point the finger too much. My grandfather was called Graham Bertram...

I grew up on Henrietta Street.

Wasn't Murgatroid something from the song Jam On It?
