Let's all post empty quotes in this thread as a 'minute of silence' for that poor little girl who was kidnapped and killed.

Thank you.

Newbie or not, makes no difference when it comes to being a decent person.
Hey I just heard you mom was a$$ raped by some jerk who broke into your house. I think he cut her eyes out. She was still alive so he screwed her again.
Sucks huh?!?
Comedy doesn't always justify being an a$$hole.

She brought it on herself, a 7 year old that can't control her gag reflex after that many attempts doesn't deserve to live.

How can you donate a whole thread for one girl, when there is so much pain and suffering going on to thousands of other people everyday in the world? Plus, that girl would of grown up to be a slut anyway.

No, no. That was the porno she did last year.
This year, she gets raped by a pack of marauding dogs. Later, she ends up in a bullfight and the bull gives her a good dicking before he gores her.

whining and bitching about the death of one girl just because the news blew it up into a media frenzy cause they had nothing better to cover has to be one of the most idiotic things you could possibly do.
if you had a moment of silence for every person that died inhumanely in the world every day, you'd never Frost-ing talk.
now go realize the only reason she made it onto the news is she is a cute white female, and that garners more attention than an ugly black kid.

Damn people, it would be kinda silly to post a thread saying lets weep for all who died yeasterday, today, and tomorrow.
All I was asking for a a little sign that people in general are good.
Being funny has it's time and place. Most of you decided to pollute this post with your humor.
Maybe you'll understand if it ever happens in your family. :(

If you really care, and want to help make the world a better place, you should be cluttering up the crime scene with candles, teddy bears, and balloons. Bonus points if you bring some small children and blubber in front of the news cameras.

It won't really help anyone, and none of us knew that little girl. If you actually personally have something affecting you, few people on this board would seriously Frost with that.
But face it, you can't do anything for her, and it's just one of thousands of deaths in the world every day. I even bet that someone somwhere else that day died a lot more tragically.
I also bet that someone that day blew themselves up while using a match to look in a gas line. Which is tragic, but when I see it on the Darwin Awards I'm still gonna laugh. Life is cruel. We laugh at it, we cope with it. Hell, you don't realise it, but someone just postedy a reference making fun of another guy here whi has AIDS. And that guy is gonna see it and laugh. All I was asking for a a little sign that people in general are good.
first of all, us ripping on you is not a sign that we're not good people. i don't know if you've ever, say, read this board, but that's kind of the way it works around here - you post something, odds are even that we're going to rip on it. don't try to shame us for being who we are.
second, this is neither the time or the place; it's a comedy message board. little girls getting kidnapped are not funny, unless (like us) you're into macabre humor. so we make it funny, at least as funny as it can be. same thing with dead baby jokes, which i personally think are funny as hell (pitchfork! HAH!) so don't condemn us because we're not being good little angels - who said we have to be? you want sympathy? you want to make a difference? start a foundation. no one here is going to stop you if you want to donate your time to a worthy charity, or maybe go out, hit the streets and do your part to try to find this girl - whatever makes you happy, bro. just give us the same opportunity, and get off my freakin' case already.

I heard on the radio that according the FBI, Kidnappings aren't increaseing. The newsmedia is to the point where they are out of stories and need something else to be sensationalist about.
I thought it was a trend and was ghoing to be the next hip thing.
So I guess what I am saying is should I untie the 6 year old in the basement?

I'm not trying to shame anyone.
Good people buy cars.
Rapists by cars.
Murderers buy cars.
Blacks buy cars.
Whites buy cars.
With most people doing the same things in life regardless of what else they do in life, is it not possible for you comedians to take 2 seconds off and show some decency.
I'm all for being funny. All I was trying to do was have a nice thread and it got ruined by people who don't know when to be serious. Not every opportunity is an open door for a joke. :(

ElDiablo, you're right. just like how not every "opportunity" (for those of you taking notes, i'm speaking of GAB here) is a chance for you to trot out whatever sentimental feelings you're having at the moment, especially if you expect your audience to just trot along with you.
in short, go tell it on the mountain. we're here to make with the funny.

Most young people between 18 and 25 are really incensed to what is going on in the world. That is why it keeps happening. People that post here are mostly people that find being mean funny. That is why stuff like this little girl and the school shootings will keep going on. They don't care because it isn't them. If it did happen to them then they would be the ones haveing rallies to end it.

Your version of a "serious" and "nice" thread is to use a pithy useless blank-quote metaphor to somehow honor the Media Victim of the Week, on a comedy board that demands a spark of intelligence from it's users.
Get some freakin' perspective, and while you're at the store, a box of Clues.

However, this whole story about this little girl breaks my heart.

Hi Eldiablo.
Allow me to speak my opinion of this thread.
I'll attack the newbie first.
If you have been lurking around here you really ought to have known the type of humor here and though I don't neccessarily agree with some thing that have been said here, it's just the way this board goes.
I'm pretty sure everyone here cares.
(I feel like typing today)
When my first [common law] husband died, I didn't go home for 2 days and I was devestated - I had to go home to get some things for the funeral and when I went into my apt. the entire place was spotless - except for the dishes, which were piled up. The dishes were 'his job' so I told my mother to bag them all up because he wasn't going to be buried without them.
We laughed, even though I was miserable otherwise.
Anyway, humans have to laugh at tragedy otherwise we would all be miserable all the time. It just so happens that here at GAB people find the sickest way of finding humor.
Anyhow, you probably should have just either said "You all are sick bastards" and continued with your life, or if you really have a problem, you should have just gone away.
If you like it here, you don't have to laugh at everything just know there will be sick demented humor.
For all it's worth (which is nothing at all)

Has he not figured out that this is a comedy board, so if you want to discuss some serious issues go to another board that is not about comedy.

Pretty much, we're nerd, geeks, and/or loveless losiers remember
Some advice from your loving Aunt Trixxie - take yourself a little less seriously - Bless Your Sweet Heart
And not all gay relationships are Frost up, theoritically there is one un-Frosted up Gay Relationship - I just kan't fined it.

You know, El Diablo, I have seen very few of your posts, and almost every one of them has been asserting that or or more board members are losers, geeks, not as funny as you, threatened by you, are whatever.
You'll fit into the Gab clubhouse much better if you take that 12' long chip off your shoulder.

As far as the chip.... I'll see what I can do. The initial hostility of this place was a little surprising to me.

It must burn you that I will have the last word in this thread, for the more times you reply, the higher the count goes. So as much as you'd like to reply, you're torn between your 'funny' post, and your dislike towards me.
