I'd give a thousand dollars to the person who can prove it.

Vlad just emailed him this:

After briefly scanning your webpage, I am uncertain how you count seconds. The reason why

the majority of human beings use the time scale that has been standardized and developed is

because seconds have been based on atomic clocks:

The big difference between a standard clock in your home and an atomic clock is that the oscillation in an atomic clock is between the nucleus of an atom and the surrounding electrons. This oscillation is not exactly a parallel to the balance wheel and hairspring of a clockwork watch, but the fact is that both use oscillations to keep track of passing time. The oscillation frequencies within the atom are determined by the mass of the nucleus and the gravity and electrostatic "spring" between the positive charge on the nucleus and the electron cloud surrounding it.

One of the problems I see with your theory is that it uses a different divisional counting mechanism, based

on a non-standard second. To comply with your wishes to change the clock to a quadrant based multiple

of 4 clock, seconds would ultimately have to be changed in their fundamental design. Not only that, but

if power failed to your one true clock, you'd have no way of determining its acuracy since it wouldn't be

atomically based, which is the only reasonable way of keeping perfect consistant time. So you're going to

throuw off all of your time calculations by an order of magnitude in the first 5 minutes of running your newly

developed clock systems. Although it may be an interesting idea to change the timescale, there appears to

be no benefits to doing so, and in the long term it could cause complete and total anarchy.

Hope this helps!

This raving lunatic needs a good slapping. It could be just as easily said that there are an infinate number of middays and midnights in a singlt 24 hour period, depending on how carefully you feel like measuring the rotation of the planet.

Hey Everybody! It's a different time somewhere else right now!

Whoppee!!!

My grade school is the product of Hitler's demon progeny because they have a clock on the wall, and teach us the dates on which things happened in a manner we, as children could relate to them!

THe human race is the worst part of the human race because they define things within their frame of reference, and everyone is stupid because I am the only one who understands that things, when represented on a larger scale, may seem different! Boogers!
