It's pretty cool here.

Our equipment truck wouldn't fit in the loading dock, so I had to stand in Rockefeller Plaza for 3 hours watching the truck while the guys took the equipment upstairs. While standing there:

1) Even though I was against a wall, and noone else was around, people would walk almost straight into me before violently swerving around me - playing chicken, but I wasn't going to fold - I'm from Detroit and Memphis, dammit! I can be tough.

2) A lady came by and started speaking to me in spanish. After I gave her my best What the Hell are You Talking About look, she asked me if I spoke spanish - I said no. SHE CONTINUED SPEAKING TO ME IN SPANISH, EVEN THOUGH I SAID NO. Too late, it occurred to me that I should have said - Si, donde es el bano? Or burst into the lyrics of La Bamba, which is all I can remember.

3) I talked us out of a ticket.

Then, later on, for dinner, my co-worker and I had two sandwiches, a couple of beers, and an appetizer at a deli. It was delicious, but it cost $100.

When we got back to the hotel, Alice Cooper was standing there. There's lots of people that look like they're in bands, but I don't know who any of them are, since they're not of the adult contemporary/soft rock variety.

Anyhow, that's been it so far. I'm about to take the subway over to Brooklyn, and we're going to eat over there for lunch.

I will be changing my name back to Shamu before the end of this trip, but it will just be sad then, because it will be legitimate.

And how come noone's on IM?

It's that way in CA, too. You get used to it, but it stinks, especially when it's cold outside, or the bar is real crowded.

KC has it 'You'd better know what you're doin' areas too.

Unfortunately, that's what I call home.

Some of those wannabes walk up on me like they're gonna do something...Deciding not to 'test' me is the best decision they've made.

Sometimes one just had a bad day, and dosen't need some jack-legged punk runnin' up on em with some drama...do you feel me, Gracie?

You're not trying very hard. I didn't mention body parts. You just assumed that's what I meant. I was actually talking about soft-serve ice cream.

Do you know what is sad with me. I'm reading the BIBLE in hebrew for my "Hebrew" (Of All names) Class. So i'm just being what i am when i hear my bro translate "the camels are coming!" now immediatly i replaced coming with cumming which sorta brings a whole (not to be confused with the ass or buttocks) new picture to the story. So i'm laughing at something other people don't get and wala Frostoff!

And by the way, "I don't speak Spanish" doesn't mean the same thing as "I don't understand Spanish." Though no one believes you when you say either one around here.
