Yeah, EPCOT is pretty lame. The world pavillion is ok to drink at (Jason Becker once wrote about his 'Drinking Around The World' adventure) but the rest of EPCOT sucks. It's Walt's 1950's vision of what the future was going to be. You can see such cool things as "computing machines" that can calculate 1000 numbers per second!



The best thing about EPCOT is just walking around the grounds. Cool landscaping and fountains.



Hit the water parks. Blizzard Beach was awesome.

I liked Epcot. However, the past two times I've been there I had done that whole drinking around the world thing, not to mention smoked a bit of the wacky weed, so just about anything could have entertained me at that point. Test Track wasn't up and running yet, but I hear thats pretty cool.



Did you know that many of the food vendor carts in Disney World that serve drinks will actually sell you cans of beer? I went there upset that I'd have to get liquored up before going there, and mentioned it to one of the guys I was buying a soda from. When he laughed and said, "Are you kidding? Beer, four dollars please". It was as if the clouds parted, the sun shone through, and angels sang "Hallelujah!" If they bother to put it on the menu, it's printed very small and out-of-the-way. I guess in a family atmosphere, they don't want glaring Budweiser signs everywhere, but how can they possibly shrug off the millions of dollars in profit lost to alcoholics like me? The answer is they don't.

I was just at California Adventure doing shots at the little mermaid bar. Their tequila shots are huge. Extra magical I guess.



We then walked over to Disneyland where I passed out in the Pirates of the Caribean ride.
