It's a great movie, but something tells me you just won't get the nuance and humor in it.

To me, The Big Lebowski is more of a "smile" movie than a "bust your ass laughing" movie.

well i've seen it 30 somthing times and i even bought a movie poster. i'm even thinking about going to the big lebowski friday fest in vagas. i got the damn sound track in my car right now. i will say it gets funnier the more you watch it.

So I finally saw "Lebowski" for the first time last fall, and I was way underwhelmed. So overrated, and not particularly worth seeing. It is currently my second least favorite Coen Brothers movie, only ahead of "Ladykillers" and directly behind "Intolerable Cruelty".

big lebowski is one of those movies where i am the only one of all my friends who really isnt impressed by it. yay john goodman, but the plot is frustratingly dull.
