A prank is being pulled on me
A comedy conversation

So I have been receiving phone calls during the day while i sleep (work graveyard). Mostly the same number from a 509 area code (Washington) and 2 other times from different numbers, still 509 area code. I've answered a few and all is on the other side is dead silence. I have returned these calls and it says that the phone is out of service. Except one.
One wich called a week ago i decided to respond to today. It rings three times in a tone different to when i usually make a call. Then the phone is answered and begins playing this old Big Band style music with alot of trumpets. This happened all 4 times i recalled it. This evening I tried again to show my friend and the phone was out of service.
Worst off even though these phones seem to be out of service when I call them. They continually call me just hours later.
This has been a 3 week enterague of me screaming at my cell phone. Oh and thats the worst part, its on my cell. I do not give that number out to but 20 people, one was to my uncle who has a 509 area code because he lived out in Yakima, WA. But he died 1 month ago. I saw the dead body and all at the funeral.
So what the Frost do you think?

You also misused it, because unless you're somehow creatively personifying these phone calls, that makes no sense whatsoever.

why yes i was personifying the phone calls in the fact there was 3 of them continually coming and going filling up my call list. Looking like a gathering of people on my phone. (phone #'s are to a person)

Let us examine this sentence:
"This has been a 3 week enterague of me screaming at my cell phone."
Subject: This
Verb: has been
Subject Compliment: enterague (entourage)
Related Adjectives: "a" "3 week"
Prepositional Phrase: of me screaming at my cell phone
If we remove all the extra crap, we're left with "This has been an entourage," and we're left with the question: What is this?
I assume that you're referring to your entire experience with the calls, and if you mean to characterize that as an entourage, I've underestimated you and would like a full explanation of such an interesting metaphor.

Entourage defined by dictionary.com
the group following and attending to some important person.
True I may not be all that important. But this is a person or people calling me (my sleep time is important) and attending to the business of pissing me off. I then begin getting frustrated and screaming like many important people do with their associates or attendants.

Actually, they don't. With a Tri-Nine(tm) Burst Pattern Low Band Telephony Wetwear Chipset (TAPI 6473.0 complaint), one can choose the return number and what number to dial with merely a thought.

I suggest setting up an auto dialer, and while you're at work (which is night of course, as you work the graveyard) you get it to dial through these numbers in a cycle. Since it will be in the dead of night It would be freaking annoying, and since you'll be at work you won't care about have phone lines tied up. I suggest using an internet program to do the auto dialler, long distance, if it is, can be costly. So, in conclusion, prank the pranksters.

I had something like that happen to me. These two old people at a nursing home thirty minutes away keep calling my house. When you answer the phone all you hear is "Jody, Jody". First I tried to help her, asking what number she wants, she spouts off some number not even close to mine. Since she can't hear a Frost-ing thing I say to her, I finnaly hang up. Five minutes later the man calls. He's a rude old man that doesn't believe me the first 50 times I tell him he has the wrong number. He keeps saying put Bill on the phone. When I get him convinced he then yells at the old woman "Dammit you dialed the wrong number!" One perticular day my "Suger mama" (the name my wife gave her) called pretty early in the morning. Now we have a one year old, and a newborn so my wife is pretty bitchy. Anyways, this lady starts calling my wife just keeps hanging up on her. After about the tenth time she gives the one year old the phone, but they hang up and call back leaving messages on our voice mail. Finally they stop, only to call back after everyone goes back to sleep. My wife is so pissed, she picks up the phone, and tells this poor old, probably handicaped woman that she is on her way over to the nursng home to strangle her with the phone cord. What happends next?
"JODY!"

oddly enough, these calls are probably from telemarketers. many telemarketers use an automated computer dialer, and sometimes their employees just sit there on the clock and ignore the phone - basically their system calls you and they don't actually pick up the phone to talk to you. I'm not really sure about the middle of the night thing though... perhaps someone has forgotten to turn their system off overnight?

In Canada, you can complain about such calls to the CRTC and they get right on that. The phone company will basically tell you to piss off, but once they get a complaint from the CRTC, they're more than happy to give you the company's name and contact information.
In the US, you've got the Do Not Call Registry, and then if they still call you, complain about it.

A couple of weeks ago the wife and I changed our phone number. She thought we should be nice and call up the old people and give them "Jody's" new number so when they call they won't be worried. We got a good laugh out of that, also thought we would send them a phone with the realy big numbers on it.
Anyways we thought we where done with the crazy old people callng. BOY where we wrong. My wife is now "Pam" or so the new old woman calls her. The day we got our phone turned on she started calling. The other day she called and my wife being very rude told her for the 100th time that she had the wrong number. The old lady said she was sorry but wanted to know if my wife could tell her where the nearest Pizza Hut was, so she gave her directions to the worst part of town. We haven't heard from her since.
