Electoral college is where it's at. <a href=http://www.electoral-vote.com/ This> site tracks the latest polls in each state. It also has some decent links about Bush & Kerry.

An interesting point made on this page (and elsewhere) is that the number of voters per elector varies by almost a factor of 3 from California to Alaska or Wyoming. And that variation is hugely biased in favor of Republicans.

please do all of us a favor and stop trying to flex your feeble html muscles and just use the damn "add link" button. It has to be as clear to you as it is to the rest of us that scripting is way beyond your generation.

As far as I can tell, Chickens, they just take the latest poll in every state. You can see the color-coding for strong, weak, and barely. It seems reliable and tries to be non-partisan (the guy puts his pro-Kerry links at the bottom, and is open that he is pro-Kerry).
For anyone who cares, here is the schedule for Presidential debates.
In which Dubya doesn't stand a chance. Kerry's a former prosecutor and was self-assured enough to testify before the US Senate at 23. At that age, Dubya was starting his long swim through beer bottles.

Kerry has a lot to answer for at this point.
1. Despite everything he has run on, he is coming across as a Poe on the war.
2. He has to answer to the "unfit to command" guys. That's not looking good for him.
3. They are just now bringing out his attendence in the Senate Intel. Committee scandal. Missing 70% of them? And 100% in the month after 9/11? Once again, this doesn't look good for a man putting himself up as a potential president.

"Unfit for Command" - all you need to know is that one of the two co-authors is a guy Nixon hired to discredit Kerry when Kerry made his enemies list.
That's right. Nixon. The only President to make Bill Clinton look like an ethical giant by comparison.
You also should remember that putting yourself in for a medal you don't deserve, OR LETTING SOMEONE ELSE DO SO, is a crime. Why didn't they speak up at the time? Because they 'remembered' Kerry was a bad guy once he started speaking out against the war.
And, finally, the men who actually served with him don't support these accusations. Even the one guy who doesn't like him says he was indecisive and handled the boat badly, which contradicts the thrust of "Unfit for Command" that Kerry was reckless.
As John McCain said, "Dishonest and dishonorable".

All I've seen has been supportive, Trix. The doctor says self inflicted wounds. The guys in the boat say one of his schrapnel woulds was from a mortar HE fired at a blank rock face.
Of the guys that were his contemporaries, only one of all the guys in that photo is supporting him. The rest are dead or are against him.

Chickens:
The 250+ didn't serve with him, they were in Vietnam at the same time or after, anything they have to say is hearsay and only the stupidest of the stupid would give that any weight. Have you bothered to listen to the guys who did actually serve with him? Like the guy who's life he saved?
The doctor's (who by the way must have never heard of the Hippocratic oath) signature is curiously missing from any of Kerry's records so that too is hearsay. Oh and if it was self inflicted why didn't he say anything at the time? Was that sort of thing legal back then? Funny in the same breath he calls the wound "minor" and "superficial" and "insignificant" yet remembers it as if Kerry had walked in with the fuselage of a Huey sticking out of his ass. ("How the hell?" "Charlie was mighty pissed today.")
John McCain and other vets have blasted those Emersons as liars at worst and suckers of scum at best. The guy who wrote the book is a racist Frost head who has posted all sorts of anti-Muslim and Catholic screeds at freerepublic.com so his opinion and sanity are suspect as well.
Your "constant headline in every media" is very telling, no they don't report much on Kerry kicking Shrub's ass on Fox and Rush is silent on the issue. Strange that.

This is going to be another Electoral College election (two in a lifetime! How about that?) and right now Junior isn't even scraping by on C's as per his previous college experiences. Don't look at this as one competition, it's 50 winner takes all and right now Kerry has a chunky lead. If everything continues as if (Iraq quagmire, economy logy, Bush stupid) Kerry will be prez.
And what should be making your trousers brown is Kerry has always been known as a strong finisher.
That's right baby, this time next year the U.S.A. is going to be a secular socialist dictatorship with the UN and France running the whole show! Kerry will invite Bin Laden to the White House (which will be changed to the All Colors of The Rainbow House) for a group hug and encounter session (Mr. Bin Laden I want you to know that you really hurt not just us but yourself on 9-11, not just physically but spiritually.) The obscene Clinton Christmas Quanza tree will be brought out and Saddam will be reinstalled as President of Iraq will a full apology and his rape rooms restored.
And of course all of Sideshow Bob's criminal buddies will be let out of jail.

I honestly thought that Bush would be a mostly harmless caretaker President. I had no idea he was as thick as this.
Of course now I wouldn't spit on Nader to put a fire on his head out much less vote for the ass.
