....I am no longer a redhead. I am changing as I type. Ladies and gentleman, the drapes now match the carpet.

I don't think I'm gonna like it. I need to quit being so impulsive.

3-5 minutes to go.

I haven't looked at it yet but it's supposed to be the color of a nice french roast coffee bean.

It's the closest to my natural color I could find.

You shouldn't have done that. You should have let it grow until your colored hair is the same length as your normal hair. YOU have no idea how awesome it looks. My best friend's sister did that. She's a brunnette and she dyed her hair blonde. It looked really really cool.

In other world news, when I dyed my hair it was a lot redder then it is now. Now it's growing out and looks great.

For one 3 inch patch right in the back of my head which is red. Frost.

So, now I have a little bit more color on this patch. Hope it evens it out some. I'm so glad to have my own color back.

I MISSED YOU FRENCH ROAST COFFEE BEAN!

I have serious roots, and I never knew just how horrible my natural colour was until I started using marvellous red dyes. Now I look like the little mermaid (which I take as a good thing).

Also, I want dreads. (then I could look like Suze from As If)

I'm Irish and Danish, but my family is black irish. One of those comes from the wrong side of the tracks sorts.

No Nordic blonde here, no fiery Irish red.

Just a twisted curly mane of the darkest brown you can imagine in nature.

So I had it fixed. If God couldn't get it right, at least my hair stylist did!

Not too many firey Irish redheads in Ireland though Wx3. More like extremely straightened blondeness (peroxide) from the Millies. And varying degrees of brown from everyone else. (Oh and blue, purple, pink and black from the Goths).

My cousin is marrying an american girl who looks more Irish (curly red-head, green eyes) than anyone I've ever seen over here.

I'm currently in the growing-out stage of my typical hair-styling pattern, which goes as follows:

1. Randomly decide I need to look different and dye my hair some color other than my natural medium brown. (Last time it was black.)

2. Enjoy hair color immensely for three months.

3. Decide hair color looks stupid and let it grow out until it's long enough to cut off the colored part.

Fortunately, this is much easier to do than the last time, when I went blonde. Never. Again. I should be ready to cut it again sometime in the spring.

Jannie:

I believe we may be on the same type of schedule. I also like to change the style of mine but no matter where I go or who cuts my hait it always comes out looking EXACTLY the same as it did the previous time.

I am doomed forever to having big eighties hair.

Brody: Really? I don't feel as bad now. I thought I was some sort of bastard creation. I have the pale Nordic skin but the dark, dark hair. Someday I shall visit both Ireland. Why? Because thats what good Irish-Americans do.

Wx3, come to Northern Ireland, you will love it what with the threat of a sectarian beating and fear of people in rangers/celtic tops. And I will go to America again. Why? Because tis what all good Irish folk do (even though we get mistaken for British).

I usually think of "Irish-looking" as pale skin, freckles, and dark hair. I guess because a lot of my Irish relatives looked that way.

My dad is have Scot and half Irish. He had red hair when he was young, but it seems like it came from the Scottish side--my Scottish grandmother had red hair.

My hair is in a constant state of growing out. As soon as I get it cut, I start trying to grow it. I can never decide if I like having bangs or not, so they are always being grown out or cut.

I haven't dyed my hair in a few years, but never say never.

Like, dying my hair (red, by the way) five years ago is going to keep me from going gray now?

I think it's just because I don't have kids. My twin brother is almost completely gray (and going bald, too.) We both had dark brown hair growing up. His beard is red, though.

I'm not a red head anymore, again.

Just thought I'd throw that in since we're getting painfully off the subject.

Good for you Trae!

Now your make-up will look 10 times better with a more natural hair color plus you'll be more confident.

I'm going into the salon to get some color on Tuesday as the store bought stuff keeps on washing out too quickly revealing my now abundant grays.

We're supposed to look SASSY? Shakespeare, I thought we were going for haggard. I'm not going to fit in very well.

I got my hair cut pretty short and now it looks more grey than ever. It doesn't quite match the snowy whiteness of my beard, but it's obviously heading in that direction.

The haircut was supposed to disguise the fact that my hair is thinning, and it failed miserably.

Add to that the fact that I seem to have recently progressed from being a bit paunchy to having a full-fledged gut, and my sex appeal (for this bunch, anyway) is at an all-time high just in time for the Boston festivities!

My hair isn't dyed, but it still doesn't really match.

I hope nobody notices!
