My real name is James Abbott McNeill, same name as the guy that painted Whistler's mother.



Some of my less-enlightened friends made the incorrect assumption that the painting was of McNeill's own mother, and the he was Whistler, and so they started calling me Whistler.



McManus is my half-brother's GAB surname, and since we don't have the same name in real life, I thought it would be nice to have the same name here.
