Sometimes, I find picking my nose to be terribly satisfying. Is there nothing better than feeling the chunkiness of a semi-fresh booger, and then reaching in and pulling it out, all in one piece? Oh, the wet snot I could do without, as it gets all stuck under your fingernail, those bring me no pleasure whatsoever. Unless it's a combo snot, with a hard end that comes out first, with a long, semi-soft string of snot attached. I once watched a friend pick one of these, and I swear that snotstring was five inches long. Not that I make a habit of watching people pick their noses, but sometimes it happens. I once puked on his head - but that
is a story for another day.
When I used to do coke, the boogers would be wicked for days. Sometimes, the next morning I'd have a booger that literally filled an entire nostril. Well, those are boogers and blood (and scab, I guess).

I don't think I'm going to make any more Potter jokes, because it seems unfair to pigeonhole someone based on one very superficial characteristic (unlike Hammerhead, whose reputation as a lovable Emerson is well deserved).
More to the point, the joke wasn't that funny to begin with.

One day when I was in middle school, I was in the cafeteria eating some french fries and trying to pick my boogers without anyone noticing. Some kid came up to me and asked, "Digging for gold?" then walked away. Never having heard that phrase before, for some reason I thought she was talking about the way I was wolfing down my fries. It wasn't until much later that I realized the ugly truth.
