I was waiting for this thread. If you have a new icon, and have a fullsize such that would fit on a shirt, I'm willing to put a shirt for you in my super secret cafepress store. Without profit. It is the easiest way to make sure you have a shirt of your icon. However, I might have to work out a schedule of who gets what shirt first, because depending on what style of shirt you'd like, I can only do one design on a style at a time.



E-mail me at the addy in my profile if you're interested, and send your large icon art, anything you'd like the shirt to say, and the style. If you have questions about what style you'd like, check out my Gromulon store, all the styles are shown.



Again, I would not put any more charge on for the work, I'll make the price the base price. Most of the base prices are actually quite reasonable without the addition of profit, so it's a good deal.

Making these icons was a lot of fun. Even folks I was tentative about dealing with (coughchickenscough) were an absolute pleasure. No offense, but we got a real bunch of ladies and gentlemen here.



As for the large versions, I need to post a disclaimer: they suck. Even though I draw them at 480x480, I have to keep looking at them at 75x75 and then dumb them down. What looks OK at one size looks like ass in another (just ask anyone who's gone out with someone they met online).



The exception to this is BobJohnson's icon. His request just happens to fit in small and large.

BobJohnson's icon is so perfectly appropriate, he doesn't even need a name on his posts anymore.



Demo's icon makes me feel like he is either in agreement with what is being said, or is saying, "Gotcha, buddy." I don't know if it makes me want to laugh, or be a little creeped out.



Chicken's icon would be good for almost any of the men in this place- for obvious reasons. I would think that a chicken riding a goat (or other way around) would be a little better/ more unique. Or a chicken wearing chaps.

Phuc was extremely helpful and patient with getting the icon to my specifications. Believe it or not, this is version three, with each one of the changes designed to make my personal insignia look slightly less like a hillbilly Walmart greeter with Downs syndrome.

The people who work for the site talked about this before it was done and decided it was more important to raise some funds for the big party than be elitist. We don't really laugh that much at them. In fact, sometimes I cry when the devil looks at me. Or at least cowar.
