FCC now works with 15,000 cheerleaders a year in faith-based camps and competitions, with a staff of 100 coaches. CCA teaches 7,000 cheerleaders a year and recently built a 27,000-square-foot gym.
FCC? Hmmmm..., sure, it was taken out of context, but interesting though. And what could possibly go wrong with 100 coaches and 15,000 high school chearleaders?
We all know how carefully they do background checks in church organizations.

MaddMatt: I don't think the 15,000 cheerleaders are all there at the same time. That's the figure for the entire year. So the cheerleader-to-coach ratio is probably much better than you think.
Anyway, long story short, if the police ask you about 14,000 missing cheerleaders, don't mention my basement.

When I used to go to cheerleading camps in high school, it was awesome because literally it was 3,000 girls and 7 guys. And back then I was straight, too.

I stand corrected.
But, can't a man just dream? I had already faxed my resume and a couple of cheers.
And, Mums the word if you can maybe spare about 10 out of your 14,000. I'm not quite awesome enough for that many.

"We think it can even be an act of worship," said John Blake, FCC's event coordinator.

Like, anyone can feed the hungry or tend the sick, but it takes a real Christian to cheer.
And when we say "Like, omigawd!" we like totally mean it.

To be honest, I like it when Cheerleaders scream 'Oh God.' It lets me know I am finally doing something right.
