I love Harry Potter.
This pause in my post is provided so that you may laugh at me without interrupting your reading.
It's great having a series of books that my 10 year old and I can both read and enjoy. I've always tried to read what she does. But it was hard to make myself read "I want to marry Orlando Bloom and have 10,000 of his babies!!!!!11" or some Shakespeare like that.
That said, I've also read the Chronicles with her. And she is just as excited about that movie as she is the 4th Harry Potter movie. And she was just as excited about The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
I have no doubt she'll fit in just fine when she turns 18 and wants to come to GAB.

Holy crap, that will be awesome. I read all the Narnia books 10 million times when I was a kid. I exagerate: only 999,999 times.
In grade 4, when we were going to 'study' The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, I insulted the other students for not having read it before. . . . So much so that the teacher made me read a different book with all the religious fundamentalists whose parents wouldn't let them read C. S. Lewis.
I'm going to have to reread them before the movie comes out.
But what does a nerd take to a C. S. Lewis movie? Lightsabers and towels are out. . . a bible, maybe?

Several people reported her to John because she stated several times that she's underage.
She'll be welcomed back as soon as she's 18 and in anticipation of that John is leaving her pic in the album.
Personally, I think it's a shame she made it public and it's a shame people turned her in. And it's a shame I brought attention to her identity here and it's a shame people outed her IP's.

And it's a shame that she's a Frost-ing asshat. I haven't reported her, and won't, but I'd guess if someone did, John'd ban her permanantly for violating the terms of service again.

Christ, Hammerhead. I realize that compared to you, I'm still a noob or whatever, but I really don't give a Shakespeare. You are an asshat. I can't stand you. You're not funny, you insult people, and you choose to ignore people that are funnier than you. For Christ sakes Hammer, share the playground. I know that you have been around longer than I, but you might have the sandiest vagina of all time.
If the problem is that she is breaking the rules and you have an issue with that, I call you a hypocrite. This site is all about stepping over boundries and finding ways to screw with people. How many people did the Credit Card Scam bring to the site? Or the MassPike joke?
This site applauds people's ability to Frost around with authority figures or gate keepers of information.
Lighten up and laugh.

Fluro managed to go for years without anyone noticing he was underage, because he just didn't mention it. I think he was 10 when he signed up.
I was going to say that he was accepted because he didn't post anything retarded, but that's not altogether true. The reason we like him is because he has the good retardation.
Good retardation makes you dress up like the photo album pictures or post Dr. Seuss parodies. Bad retardation makes you post about how much you like Insane Clown Posse.

Filly, I don't know what bug is up your ass. I'm not doing anything about any of this, but posting my opinion. I don't care one way or the other about Potter being here or not.
Also, if you haven't learned by now that nothing is as it seems here, then you really need to re-evaluate your thoughts on this place.
Once and for all, IT'S A Frost-ing SCHTICK. I insult no0bs. Until they prove themselves. I'm not a bitter, vindictive, or hateful person. And I only throw insults as part of the normal community dynamic.
Think what you will. People here say every day that many no0bs don't go through hazing.

Yes, John brought us the funny by giving us pranks against "the man". That's great. But if you got thrown out of a bar and told not to come back until they allowed you to, would you try to go back, knowing you'd probably get your ass kicked by the bouncers?

That's gotta be the oldest and worst damn excuse in the book. As Demo has said over and over again, you don't have to be an Emerson to everyone to be funny. At least get some new excuses, please.

Oh, and have a nice day. I'm really not upset. However, yes, I do have a problem with someone who's been banned coming back before they're allowed because they think they can.
Yeah, I'm not upset either. I am, however, having fun pissing off one of the biggest Emersons in the place. And if she's 18 now, then it's allowed, is it not?

If she's 18, then she wouldn't need to have a new login. John would have given her back her old one. But as I remember, her 18th birthday isn't until December, right? So if I'm wrong, then welcome back. But IF I'm right, then go the Frost away.
I haven't been the most vocal about her banning. I do seem to remember several threads about it, none started by me.

I've been reading this website for three months, and it seems like certain posters (Hammerhead, Donkey, Sombrero, Virnomine, etc.) never have anything more to contribute than uncreative putdowns. I assume that these putdowns are intended to be humorous- this is a comedy website, correct?
Ha. Ha. Ha.
Nothing kills the potential for humor more than slow-witted "internet tough guys" like yourselves (your photos indicate that you could never pull this off in real life). While you are busy typing your unfunny vitriolic responses to this post and Filly's, please consider what you are saying.
Is it funny?
Does it make you seem like a person who belongs on a comedy website, or an ugly self-loathing jerk?
If the answer is the latter, then you ought to stop posting. You are wasting the reader's time.

Oh, and HH? Don't flatter yourself.. I'm not riled up. I'm just having fun right now and it'll end fast before I, oh, what is it? Right, before I "go have sex with the real-live woman waiting for me in bed because I have a life."

I'm a sucker for good children's literature. That's why I know:
talking horse: From "The Horse and His Boy." The story of Shasta. Takes place during "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe"
magic rings: From "The Magician's Nephew." First tools ever used to (indirectly) enter Narnia.
Turkish Delight: From "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe." This is what the White Witch bribes Edmund with. He does all sort of snarky things afterwards. It's damn tasty, too.

My opinion.. John doesn't really give a Shakespeare. It's been said before, the "I'm over 18" disclaimer is more than enough protection on his part.
He banned her because she publicly announced her minor status. He banned her because hypocritical Emersons and bitches who call this place their own decided to report her for being underage.
If he truly cared whether people here were 18 or not, he wouldn't have banned her username.. he would've banned her IP.
Now can we please just shut the Frost up about the whole goddamn thing and just have some Frost-ing fun!!!
Emersons go back to being Emersons.. bitches go back to being bitches.. everyone else go back to being whatever is it that you were.. and I'll go back to being the guy with the creepy icon.
Deal?
Now STFU (or SUYT, whichever).

Dopefish in all likelyhood won't be banned, since the IP doesn't mean that it's 100% certain that she is actually Potter. Thus she should be safe as long as she doesn't confirm that theory. </hint>
Besides, most people seem to enjoy a bit of Potter here on Zug. McPants certainly does, even though he finds the constant *runs away crying*, *hides in a corner* somewhat annoying.
So stop arguing and bring on teh funny. Oh, and SUPT.

HH, you have once again shown yourself to be ZUG's #1 Shakespearehead.
You were an irritating bastard about your icon, you were even more irritating about the closing of the store, your treatment of n00bs is rarely if ever funny and just plain malicious, and you are the first person since Ford who I've blocked on IM. You are the first person I've created an email filter to delete without reading. Your impersontation of the animal souls 'bots was also an inspired bit of dipShakespearetery.
Stop trying to act like 1) you are important; 2) your seniority makes you any less of a prick; 3) anyone likes you.
I've been pulling my punches with you, but no more. There is a twenty gallon drum of Frost waiting for you in Boston.
With a large bowl of dick as a sidedish. Go die.

Oh, and Al, coming from and elitist, priggish, condisending Emerson like you, I take everything you've said as a compliment.
I may be an equal opportunity offender, but you take this place way more seriously than I do. And you get pissed at anyone and anything that doesn't match your views, wit, or outlook.
I thought you were a bigger person than that, but it seems that I was wrong. And since you're so petty as to block me from IM and filter me from e-mail, then I guess I have no reason ever to contact you again.
Oh, and as far as my attitude towards the store closing, I take the jokes in stride. But I'm sure that you'd feel Shakespearety too if John suddenly decided to no longer use your artwork on here, thus nullifying your contribution to this site.
Feel how you will. I haven't done anything but give my opinion. It may be unpopular, but it's still my opinion. I guess someone with a different worldview than you is just not good enough.

I didn't even post in this thread (because I thought it was ALL about the stupid movie) and still got grouped into the Emerson category.
Which is pretty cool, because I like to pride myself on that.
However, My assholiness comes from most peoples lack of Common sense.
I'm going to rest with my head on a pillow of contentedness knowing that Lycos's only Full Pee tube came from "Agree" clicks rather than "Ha Ha" clicks, And pretty much negates his/her whole point about only posting to be funny. Would you like some salt and pepper for that tasty foot?
Also, I'm only defending myself on this one. That comment "(your photos indicate that you could never pull this off in real life)" in regards to being an internet tough guy, is pretty uncalled for.
Ask anyone who read about it and cared to remember, I am a bouncer at a club. I'm an Emerson to most people, I'm sarcastic too. I've never been in a fight there, And the respect pours in from almost every single patron.
Just wanted to let you know, You cant really judge Shakespeare from a shoulders-up picture, can you?
Now, For a taste of some relevancy.
Harry Potter IS for losers, indeed.
The Lord of the Rings trilogy is where all the cool people hang.

And on the subject of this post, I grew up reading the Narnia books. They were read to me by our child-molesting baby sitter, so you can tell that this series is dear to my heart.
For those who haven't read them, they're like the "Left Behind" series but for little kids.
The movies will sink like a lead balloon and Aslan will crap on the producers for defiling His name without even making a profit.

So, I make a joke to try and calm down the whole pissing contest, and I end up in a pissing contest.
AND I get my ass handed to me by a girl.
Irony and redress.

When your clothes are all wrinkly, it usually is best to iron them and redress, I concur.

Harry Potter is for losers. Winners spend all their time trying to be funny on zug.com. It's the recipe for success. Hermoine is good with the magic wand.

I'm not reading this whole thread. I just wanted to say that I have ALWAYS been enthralled with "Turkish delight" since the first time I saw the movie (yes, I saw the movie WAY before I ever read the book.) When I was in Banff, Canada this past March we passed a candy shop that had this confection in the window.
"TURKISH DELIGHT!!" I screamed to my family. "I HAVE to try it."
So we all went in a got a piece.
It was the most horrific crap I had ever eaten in my life. It was a cube of horrible covered in cornstarch with a light lemon scent.
Moral of the story: There is nothing delightful about the Turkish.

If the bubble popping isn't working, maybe you should contact your insurance company and see if they would cover the cost of having the stick removed from your ass.
Hey, here's a side-dish of Frost for you. If you feel like defending someone who is to this community what ebola is to the human body, then you run the risk of making yourself a target of unmitigated ire. Not like anyone is going to give you any hateration... I'm just sayin.
Besides, it's fun to bait the Froster because his responses are really narcissistic and weird. It's like being able to follow the early years of Henry Lee Lucas or something.

Seconded, Sombrero. It's the most unlikely chocolate bar. But the wonderful taste is impossible to describe in terms of flavour. It's the taste equivalent of fondling a pair of firm breasts.

I have never cooked pork belly before so when I saw a lump in Chinatown on Sunday I bought it. I had this great Asian recipe that involved boiling it then roasting it with a spice rub. Anyway after I boiled it I took it out to cool and noticed that it had NIPPLES!!!!! Imagine an 80 year old woman left in a hot bath for too long. That's what boiled pig nipples look like
We had pizza for dinner.

Al, did you bother to read the post above that last one I made?
I suggest all the bitchy people in this thread take 5 minutes and go play with this. It's safe for work, and maybe it will help you get rid of some of your anger. With any luck, some of you may be able to get back to being funny.
I wasn't defending anyone. And I wasn't talking to anyone in particular. I was talking to all of the Frost-ing fart smiths in this thread. This place is slowly turning into a cesspool filled with sad, bitter little people.

This place is slowly turning into a cesspool filled with sad, bitter little people.
It's always been like that. Wake up.
I've got my happy moments, but when some nutjob won't let up on wiping his ass week after week on n00bs and being a singularly annoying ass at every opportunity, I call in a truck to dump sand in my vagina.
My only regret is that some of my posts lack an attempt at humor.
Telling bitchy GABbers to chill is like trying to stop a flesh eating virus with harsh reprimands.
