I was summoned for jury duty today! Despite my numerous threats that playing Madden was an indispensable profession and should excuse me from serving, I still made the Hajj to county court.



This was my first time serving as a juror, so it's safe to say that I had no idea what to expect. It turned out to be a lot of waiting. Normally I would have killed myself, but this four-hour wait was made agreeable by the insane woman sitting next to me. I don't say "insane" lightly. She was batShakespeare bonkers.



Here's how the first half-hour went:

Me: (thinking) Oh my God... my tongue is digesting in my mouth.



Woman: Aaaaaaaaiiiiieeee!!!



Me: Excuse me?



Woman: I saw him! HIM!!!



Me: Who?
