Win a Mystery Box!
A comedy conversation by Chris Garrett, or CG 86,932 12
06/20/2005 12:00 PM 344 views

I wanted to start out a new week with a contest.

Up for grabs is this mystery box.

I placed it in the chair so you can see how big it is. It weighs approximately 10 pounds, and the contents are a mystery!

WHAT COULD BE IN THE BOX? 10 pounds of money?? 10 pounds of dog poop?? 10 pounds of solid gold?? Who knows!! But ONE lucky GABber can win this box AND its mystery contents!

Wanna take a gamble? Here's how you play....it may take a little research.

The GABber who comes closest to the answer will have this box shipped to them, to enjoy!

Here is your question:

This morning, I went for a bicycle ride. I left the radio station on Main Street, in West Lebanon, NH, and went up Route 10 to the Dartmouth COllege Green.

I then turned onto West Wheelock Street, crossed the Ledyard Bridge into Vermont, turned onto Route 5 South in Norwich, took Route 5 through Norwich into Wilder, to the intersection of 5 and 14. I made a left, crossed the bridge into NH, onto Bridge Street, up to Main Street, back to the radio station.

How many miles, and tenths of a mile was the trip?

Good Luck!

Is the winner the first person to get it correctly or is it the person closest to the correct answer after a certain period of time? Also, how did you determine the correct answer (i.e. did you use an odometer during the trip)?

This makes a big difference to my strategy. Because I'm insane. Purple monkey dishwasher.

We might be able to figure out the answer if we put enough government funding into this. We strip the military of their budget and using the money plus their monkey-powered supercomputers to give us all the answer so we can share 10 lbs of steaming bovine produce. Methane anyone?

You guys really don't want that box, CG murdered the station intern, and after disposing of the body, he is now shipping you the rest of the evidence. That's why he wants someone to guess the correct mileage so he knows they no the area, and would be convincing when questioned by the police.
