Small children dressed as sperm.
A comedy conversation

Neep and I just got home from our regional Stagechallenge, a competition where high schools put together an 8 minute performance, with a theme of our choice. We did the Magic School Bus. This year we were both backstage crew, and we won the award for Best Crew! Which was a good thing, because our performers were pathetic this year. We won last time with Where's Wally. (Waldo for crazy 'mericans?)
Anyway, another school had the theme 'safe sex'. They had a giant, jiggly egg, and all the smallest kids were dressed in sparkly sperm costumes. They were dancing around trying to get to the egg, but were stopped by guards with 'condom' written across their fronts. I'm not sure how the photos on my phone turned out, and I can't check because it's out of battery. I never did hear the opinions of the two Catholic schools present.

Did you have the big yellow where's wally book?
You know, where the last task was to find the Wally with no left shoe, but he was surrounded by millions of other Wallys?
To this day, it haunts me that I couldn't find that elusive Wally.

That because a stoning in a public square can be a shockingly quiet event.

No, but that had the coolest set. There was a big book, and we flipped the page for each scene. Wally and his dog were kidnapped, and they were persued by detectives through an Arabian scene, a graveyard scene and a circus scene. Nobody wore many clothes in the Arabian scene.

In ancient times, the punishment for adultery was to get stoned in the marketplace.
In the modern lexicon, that just sounds like fun.

Does anyone remember the Father Ted (Speed 3) and he's talking to Pat Mustard (the milkman) about all the children he's fathered and how he's not careful in the bedroom.
Pat Mustard: 'now you wouldn't be advising the use of artifical contraceptives Father?'
Father Ted: 'Yes I... well no, I suppose if you were... FECK OFF.'

My voice is gone from yelling and chanting all day! The performers hate us because all the way back the the dressing room and then to the bus we were yelling back and forth... this is a sample:
Neep: Hey Emma!
Emma: Yeah?
Neep: Who's best crew?
Emma and Liz: We are!
Jaggy: Best crew!
Emz: Best crew!
Neep: Best crew!
Liz: Best crew!
Emma: Best crew!
Jaggy:... he's a baller!
Neep, Emma, Emz and Liz: Holler!
Jaggy: Holler back!
All: Whoo whoo!
Neep: Egg!
Jaggy: Egg!
Neep: Egg!
Jaggy: Egg!
Neep and Jaggy: 'obbit!
This is at the end of a very long day of yelling, so our voices were very croaky and sore.

We do the "he's a baller!" thing with the safe assumtion that no one here knows what we are on about and just think we're weird. I just realised that it's American so you guys have probably all heard it and know that only posers do it or something. Just so you know, when we do it, it's quirky.
I need sleep.

Please translate this so I can tell if I'm supposed to be turned on or not.

The girls in the Arabian scene last time were all in tiny skirts and tiny tops showing their pierced belly buttons. The genie also refused to wear his vest that people spent hours and hours making and painting and beading... because he wanted the girls school to cheer when he came on topless with silver painted skin. The bastard, I hope he works in McDonalds somewhere now.

After reading the initial post in this thread, I am left to wonder how the sperm were introduced on to the stage.

Hopefully something like on of those Chinese dragons you see in the parades, but shaped like a penis.

My voice is still very croaky and sore from the yelling and chanting. I was nearly asleep at work today.
We are all very tired today because aswell as the full day performing on friday, we were out on thursday. Who has been to see a performance of Don Giovanni? We went to see it on thursday night with our friends and 2 of our teachers. But it wasn't a school trip, because the teacher organising it doesn't like paperwork. Anyway, the point is... has anyone seen meet the Feebles? That was filmed in the same theatre, it's our theatre.

You think it's all fun and games, looking for this Wally/Waldo character, but there's a reason he doesn't want to be found.
