Whistler, that might have been true once, but not so much anymore. Religious education classes are no longer a mandatory part of the national curriculum and those schools that do still teach them tend to cover a variety of religions, although a lot of that is dependant on the diversity of the class. Workplaces have to honour different religious holidays and prayer times, etc or else be in breach of the equal opportunities act (or some such).



It's true that, from time to time, cases do still arise where teachers or managers do attempt to restrict such freedoms (mainly relating to dress codes) this tends to be more from the perspective of attempting to create a homogenous environment rather than any actual persecution, and when this does hapen the courts tend to overwhelmingly support the individual.

If you are on welfare for reasons similar to those above... or if you are on welfare because you are legitimately broke and unable to find work suitable to support your family, but after being placed on welfare you become pregnant because you are a greedy life-sucking whore, give your children to Chickens then get the Frost out.

There's a commercial that plays every now and then on AFN (Armed Forces Network) with Kirk Douglas talking about over-population of third world countries.. how some people's families are so large that they're starving because there's not enough food.

I must disagree with this statement, though.
