I got rid of dial up AND aol in one fell swoop. I am now cruising the net at the speed of light!
Could someone tell me why this is such a big deal? What can I do now that I couldn't do with dial up?

<action> refreshes the JepReport </action> I have no idea what you could be doing now...
Actually, that's not fair of me, you did just update it and I am going to comment on it as soon as I get home tonight. Because I am 5 minutes late already...

I'm assuming you are now on DSL. You can surf 17 pages in the same amount of time it takes to surf one on dial-up. Your next upgrade should be to take a speed reading course, which will make your initial upgrade worthwhile.

Well, to be honest, the new internet connection wont help any since Zug's server crashes on a regular basis anyways. Your still stuck waiting no matter what.

You're welcome.

Jep, you may now give someone your email address without inciting derisive laughter. That's what you can do now that you couldn't do before.
To take full advantage of your newfound broadbandedness, you must now download everything ever made.
This place has the software, this place has the links to download the movies, music, software, porn, and everything else.

Hey Jep, remember when you were new to ZUG and I adopted you and told you in two days what it would have taken you two weeks to figure out on your own? I can do that for the internet, too. Just IM me sometime and you will soon be enjoying your high speed connection more than you expected.

Actually, this time it wasn't about my boobs. I showed him how to fit in here and avoid some of the worst eye-bleaching sites that he might stumble across. This time I was going to show him how Firefox extensions will make his surfing experience so happy that he'll spend all day online, forgetting that he has a newborn. Oh, and to pirate media, but Livewire beat me to some of that.

I actually am looking for things to fill the new 30 gig drive I slapped into the computer a couple weeks ago. It's all empty and just begging to be used.
Suggestions other than porn?

Are you opposed to stealing? If you don't mind stealing, movies take up lots of room and provide much enjoyment. If you like gaming (and stealing) games also take up room.
If you oppose stealing you could always buy movies or games.

Awesome Roofie!
By the way, for the rest of you, Roofie is the ONLY mentor on ZUG. Any noobs that ignore her advice are inviting certain doom. As soon as I get the kids down (I'll be giving them vodka yogurt in about thirty seconds) I'll be milking her for all she's worth.

Well, for those of us not using a Commodore 64, or an Apple IIe, then most recent computers have at least one 30 gig drive.
Currently, I have 8 gigs left on my C drive. But I guess in all actuality, I only have 25 gigs available on my new G drive.
Come into the 21st century, neanderthal.

Any Compaq server experts out there?

I keep all the cd images I download on my hard drive, because it's a big bother burning them. 5-6 games + their images take up a Shakespeareload of space.

Cool jep, I added you on AIM.
Come on now. 30 gigs isn't nearly enough!
I have 140, and thats not nearly enough.
My friend has 1.5 TIB that we share, and that really isn't even close to what we need.
