Paris Postcards!
A comedy conversation

I got my Postcard from mailman! He's making us WORK for this!
http://caffeine.free.fr/GAB/pgr.html
My clue is #4: What is the name of the French National Anthem?
The answer is La Marseillaise, but there are only 12 spaces. So I'm guessing Marseillaise.
So, the 4th letter in the password is "i".

I'm #15: How are the "Smurfs" called in French?
(I can just imagine him saying that in his sexy sexy accent)
The answer is Schtroumpfs (so the 15th letter is R).

Look at all the Americans bragging about how they get mail delivered on Saturdays. I bet that makes the FrenchMailman feel sad.
The French also get mail delivered on Saturdays. Well, they do when the French mailmen are not on strike. Or when they haven't moved to Canada.
---
I hope my postcard arrives soon. But then again, I haven't been to check my post since Thursday, so it could be here already.
Since you live closest to France, I was expecting you to be the first one to receive your postcard. But if you want to start blaming the mailman for the delay, go ahead. As long as you're blaming the British mailman.

Ok. I've looked at the photo album 4 or 5 times since the update to put faces with names, and every time I looked at your pic I'd spend 2-3 minutes trying to figure out those stars: "Stray confetti?"; "Crafts with kids? Maybe she's a preschool teacher."
Way to stump the noob.

I think the worst postal service has to be in the Philippines.
My fiance's sisters were trying to send her something. After a couple of weeks the post office shipped it back to them saying they needed a zip code.
The sisters informed them that it was being to sent to Canada, and showed the postal code. The post office started talking to them like they were retards, and showed them a zip code from a piece of mail being sent to California, insisting that they needed a number that looked like that.
The sisters gave up, and are now sending it to a relative in the states where it will then be mailed to Canada.

Second, pseudo-twinkie. I got it at 5-letters. That makes me more Asian than you.

Mailman, those are some awesome pictures. I especially like the "American Embassy" story. How DARE you compromise our National Security in such a manner?
Thanks for the fun game! But dude - how long did all that take you to make? You spend too much time on GAB.

I just got back in Canada tonight. I see that the GAB collective has made some progress since yesterday with the password riddle, and that several have already seen the photo page.
---
My postcard didn't have any nakedness! It's a picture of a bunch of awnings that say "Chez Eugene". Why didn't I get naked people?
Millie, I thought that you would like the picture of Place du Tertre, in Montmartre. I saw the postcard on the rack and immediately thought of you, because it is the artists' place in Paris. Sure, there aren't any naked people on the picture, but if it makes you feel any better, the Place du Tertre is just a short downhill walk away from Pigalle, the place in Paris with all the peep shows, sex shops and porn theatres.

It's "snails for dinner," damnit.
Try eating something other than fries and Frost.

I got postcard #12.
"Which city of the French Riviera hosts a famous film festival each year?"
The answer is Cannes, and the 3rd letter - N - is circled.

Mailman, you have the most awesome, if not a little girly, handwriting.

Finally!
I received #13 today. The question is "What French word translates into 'zug' in German?"
The answer, which I actually Babelfish'd, is the great French word "train." The important letter is the "n," resulting in:
S n a i _ s _ o r d i n n _ r
Only 15,600 possibilities left for anyone too dumb to read Phuc's post.
