The Blood Brothers are dope. They have a few songs on their myspace profile.

Well, there's your answer, Ollie.

Obviously, you can never listen to their music or acknowledge their existence ever again.

Glad that's out of the way, eh!

Meh. The guitarist in the band I was in my freshman year was really into them. We hung out with them a couple times. Nice guys. Took themselves a bit too seriously, but hey, they're musicians. We all do. If you're into hardcore screamo stuff, with all that treble-y screaming and jarring guitar, then it's fine, but I'm not, so I'm not too big of a fan.

They sometimes do that screamo thing where they make up a nonsense phrase and pretend it means something. Which is the reason I ended up leaving that band. My guitarist came to me one day with a song he'd written, and in it was the line "trip to fill." I asked him what that meant, and he said something about oceans and metaphorical boats.

BullShakespeare. Emersons take themselves too seriously. These guys went to a snotty prestigious music school. (I'll donate a buck to MoveOn in the name of the first person who can identify the guy on the right).

Ah, Mickey and Eddie. One swears like a sailor, you'd laugh 'til you died at the stories he told you. The other was neat clean and tidy from Monday to Friday.

Very sad at the end, make sure to bring tissues.

Phuc, is it Moe?

You guys didn't really help me much with what I was trying to accomplish.

I had a class with Johnny back in Aught aught, or Aught one. He mentioned his band once or twice, and I had meant to check them out. Fast forward 5 years or so, and I finally bothered to check them out.

I think I like them, but if it turns out that the kind of people that listen to them are the same kind of people that write bad poetry on myspace, I may have to kill myself.

You judge whether you like something based on who else likes it?

That's a baaaaaaaad philosophy.

What I'm saying is that if I have the same kind of taste as whiney emo douchebags, I may as well end my life. It doesn't mean I'm going to not like the band.

That happened to me the first time I tried to watch it. The second time it wasn't so bad. Maybe I was just more bored.
