Before you chew my ass out for making this thread, I felt it was neccessary to illustrate some misconceptions I've had about my "greatness". It's a much-needed, hydrochloric shower on my penis, and the following has made me realize that I suck ass and need to sit down, shut the Frost up, and stop rocking back and forth like I'm on fire.

My demos just arrived from my ex girlfriend.

The songs cover early 2002 to late 2003, and they all suck because the equipment I had at the time wasn't very good, and neither was my playing. I'm so glad to finally be able to listen to them, because I've been in a big ol' fart cloud of denial all this time.

The pictures on the CD are lighter and more washed out than I remember them being, because I was a moron and always had the contrast cranked and the brightness turned down. One cursory look at my eyebrows of that time, spells YUCK. They just weren't there.

WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING??! They were drawn on with a Frost-ing pencil, for the love of gay. I was a flaming faggot to the eye of any beholder, It's no wonder she wished to stop beholding me.

Next up, and in no particular order*, "the Songs of My Past", OR "How I Learned to Be a Salad Tossing Window Dresser and Love the Coleridge".

*I worked hard on this thread, so please be kind to it with orbs, and bash only its content.

At The Rave Inn - Originally titled "Bask".

If selling out to the mainstream and sucking corporate Coleridge knots was an art form, then this song would have its own genre! Not only is the singing off-key, but the guitar solo is not following any sort of modern sound, looking instead to VOltron's theme song for inspiration.

See also: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's opening credits. Ouch... Oh well, it's time to set the record straight, and that record, in this case, is not only broken, but welded back together.

Sucked Me Dry -

"Hi, I just discovered audio equalizers, and in honor of this great event, I will crank the highs until you can't hear what key the song is in, if any."

Although there is a bass line in this song, it is virtually indistinguishable from anything in the Taj Mahal's Greatest Hits catalog, and the screamo chorus sounds like it's being yelled into a washing machine in a subway.

The lyrical choices are also very tender, ranging from "you never answered my IM's, you bitch' to "you never answered my wedding proposal. You bitch."

Borrowing a line from Phuc, the song is over-earnest, and not funny. This appears to be the only criteria upon which I could be graded, so I get an F. I don't even want to know what the F stands for. Probably "FM", but "fugly" would be more likely. How can music, a purely aural experience of the ear canal be FUGLY? Read on.

Rich, White Girls - This song should be called, "my drums are bashy and cheap sounding. Holy whooperwilling Shakespeare cum, it was bad enough that I used a drum machine to make the rhythms, (again, all a matter of perspective; is this even music?) and started using the dance kits because they were easier to program. Read: I was turning into a dance-music bouquet of suck.

Further reviews of my god awful ear rape will be available upon request.

See, now that's where you went wrong.

You could have just admitted that you do, in fact, suck at life/music/whattheFrostever and called it a day.

There was no need to play out the Siskel and Ebert routine just so you could shove two thumbs up your ass.

But hey... at least you're starting to get a grip on reality.
