Well, that can be how we tell them apart. Jaggy's exams are written in English and Neep's are written in a cross bewteen Trekkie and Idiot.

But clearly the intent was there.

Jesus H. Osama, New Zeland is lax.

Can anyone name a famous scientist, mathematician, or engineer from New Zeland? No? Didn't think so.

Ernest Rutherford

ATOM MAN

The creator of modern atomic physics and forerunner of the nuclear age, one of the greatest scientists of the twentieth century. Awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1908 and a baronetcy, choosing the title Baron Rutherford of Nelson, in 1931. In the words of Einstein, "a second Newton". The man who "tunneled into the very material of God": inventor, experimenter and Nelson farm boy.

Ernest Rutherford was born in Brightwater, near Nelson, New Zealand, in 1871.

Yay, look at me, I found a smart Kiwi!

So, Shemp, is your point that the last smart Kiwi was born over 130 years ago?

For what it's worth: generally, when expressing oneself, the average kiwi has historically sacrificed "eloquent", or "pedantic" for the sake of "functional". Let us compare and contrast:

American, first to walk on moon: "that's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind".

Kiwi, first to climb to the top of Mt Everest: "we knocked the bastard off".

Hope this helps.

You have a double chin LOL fatty.

The debate at the moment is irrelevant, nothing has changed. Teachers have been overlooking occasional lapses, as long as the student demonstrates understanding of whatever concept they are trying to get across, and the marker gets the gist. This is obviously not going to apply to an English paper. I hope.

I'm glad I'm out of highschool. Although today at kindy I thought I was back in 5th form music. "PUT DOWN THAT CHAIR! No... please get off the table... DON'T PUT THAT IN YOUR MOUTH!"

I consulted with my Magic 8-Ball.

The Black one or the Pink one?
Because research has shown that while the Black Magic 8-Ball is correct 90% of the time, the Pink Magic 8-ball is only correct 82% of the time.

My father is a part-time professor and he is befuddled by this type of writing.

He asked me what some of the "words" were and I had no idea.

Ha! My dad thinks I'm young!
