My current TV's screen is bigger than previous screens, but it's not flat or whatever all the other bells and whistles they come with today. It has a pleasing view and sound for watching my shows and movies, and that is all I really care about.

That and the fact that I got it dirt cheap at a yard sale. Woo hoo!

I actually bought the last giant tube tv they ever made. It's a 35" Sony. When I bought it, the various flat tv's (plasma and lcd) were still prohibitively expensive. So I paid more for this thing than a 50" plasma costs now, and I'm stuck with a tv that weighs 800 pounds and takes up 25 square feet of floor space.

It's got a hell of a picture, though.

My tv is an old 29" tube model that I've had for about 12 years. I don't watch much tv and it still works well so I've had no need to replace it.

I do, however, have enough 21" monitors in the house to strech a film into a 360 degree arc. It's an interesting experience.
