Some commercials make me want to scoop my ear drums out. Post the lyrics to your favorite one because we all know every fricken word to those commercials. Do you wanna drive or do you wanna drive? Perry Chevorlet will keep you satistfied. We're the number one dealer, number one on the business loop. Do you wanna drive? Do you wanna driiiiiiive? PERRY CHEVORLET! We all know 773-202- beep beep boop boop- Lunaaaaaaaaaaaa

Hmmm, Living in Portland I would say that our commercial tallent really scrapes the bottom of the barrel. There's... Credityes.com's "OMIGOD, is my cell phone on?"...I want to kick those high pitched bitches in the cheerleading parts for the sheer jockassed Frostwittery of their take on something only a university grad could write.

You've not experienced painful local commercials until you've seen a few thousand from Bob's Discount Furniture Come On DOWNNN!!!! This is a spoof. The real commercials are even more annoying.

Sharri, I'm all too familiar with Bob's. The worst thing is that the slogan "Come on down" was lifted from Boch Automotive, presumably as an attempt to make a joke. He even has his own father in the commercials for no apparent reason.

Frost-ing Bob's. Then there's Bernie n' Phyl, a couple a racist jews who also sell furniture. The one I hate the most is Kennedy Carpet Sales and cleaners. Their commercials feature a lameass jingle that was probably written and recorded by a Berklee sophomore engineering student and all it shows is a couple of kids, again and again. What the Frost do these kids have to do with carpet sales and cleaning? Are they the Kennedy kids and if so, are the commercials these people's way of advertising them to pedophiles? I wanna stuff the Kennedy family full of C4 and make them walk into Toodie's jewelry in Kwin-zee and detonate the Frosters.

Formerly local Empire Carpet commercials were annoying (now Nat'l thanks to WGN being on cable) 1-800-588-2300 EMPIRE is so ingrained in our heads my wee ones know that number, and they can't even remember they're OWN HOME number. But without a doubt, hands down MOST ANNOYING LOCAL COMMERCIAL EVAH! Eagle Man from Eagle Insurance. I mean, really, the bastard lays an EGG! He's a MAN BIRD!

Crazy Eddie in NYC may not have been the first, but he is still the undisputed king of annoying local commercials. Thing is, Crazy Eddie's prices sucked. His closest competitor was Uncle Steve, located at 243 Canal St. His prices were just above wholesale. Thank you. I luff you.

Our funniest ones are the ghetto commercials. Two black females talking: "Ooo, GIRL! I wan' sum barbecue but I don' wan' all dat pork!" Proceed with large black man with gold teeth who owns a rib joint rapping: "Jus' wen' to D'bo's, got myself a rib plate." This repeats itself over and over throughout. I'm not sure what they're selling but I'm pretty certain ribs are still pork. Whatever it is, it's Frost-ing hilarious and hubby runs into the room whenever the commercial comes on.

I'm pretty sure only 12 people can fit in there. A reservation isn't necessarily a bad idea. My friend's dad is banging the Queen of Carpets, but the greatest ad in St. Louis has to be for the Crack Team.

Well, last night "Robert Johnson" came up on my caller ID, but it was just a machine telling me to please hold on to hear how I could improve the interest rates on my credit cards. There was a long silence after that message, so I think it might have really been Bob calling, he was just too nervous to talk to me. And I think he made up the stuff about the credit cards, because he recently heard that girls don't like to talk about hockey. I love you too Bob! You don't have to be embarrassed or afraid! I want to massage your seven mighty penii all night long!

In the 19 years that I've lived in Virginia, I've had to endure the increasingly condescending radio commercials for Haynes furniture stores. They started out being mildly chipper about their "No money down, no payments for X months" sale. Over time it has gotten more and more obnoxious. "When you come into the store you won't pay any money down. Not $20, not $10, not even one dollar. That's right folks, ZERO DOLLARS! And how much are you expected to pay next month? Nothing! Or the month after that? Not a damn thing! It's unbelievable folks, I can't even fathom it myself, but you don't pay a single red cent for ONE YEAR! Why aren't you on the way to the store now to take advantage of this fabulous offer? What kind of Frost-ing idiot wouldn't want free furniture...for a year? DO YOU HEAR ME, BITCH? No money down and no payments for a year! What the hell is the matter with you? Do I gotta spell it out more?" I may be exaggerating the commercial. Just a little bit.

Given Boston's state of disarray where all the rising gang activity is concerned, I've gotta see THEIR commercials! I bet it will be something like the Ned Flanders jingle: *hums on a harmonica* Hens love roosters, geese love ganders, everyone else better join or you're dead!
