According to the Canadian Cancer Society, 3,200 Canadians will get oral cancer in 2007 and 1,100 will die from the disease. Whew. It's just the Canadians. We're safe. I mean, my prayers go out to all the victims of this senseless disease and their families.

Isn't the HPV virus the one that causes cervical cancer? Because they keep advertising the Gardasil vaccine around the uni and in the uni newspaper. They just leave out that you need 3 doses and it costs $150 a dose. What student can afford that?

Hey, at least we're getting some. I bet if Laura Bush tried getting a little throat cancer once in a while, this whole Iraq thing wouldn't have happened. You could say, it might have just all blown over.

So will be murder if I get a blowjob? "They found that participants who reported having oral sex -- fellatio or cunnilingus -- with six or more partners were at the highest risk (8.6 times more) of develping throat cancer." Only if she's just given blowjobs to 5 of your buddies.

Isn't the HPV virus the one that causes cervical cancer? Yes. Common symptoms are genital warts. (no I don't have it)

Its not funny if you explain it, its more funny to laugh at people's inability to comprehend what they read and use common sense. Big you're funny, but you think you're a lot smarter than you actually are. I almost didn't retort because I think it's funny that you think you can go get your dick sucked by dirty whores with no consequence. Just because your mom tells you she didn't really give all those guys aids, doesn't make it true. From http://www.rdoc.org.uk/hpv.html: The human papilloma virus (HPV) is one of the most common virus groups in the world to affect the skin and mucosal areas of the body. Over eighty types of HPV have been identified. Different types of the human papillomavirus are known to infect different parts of the body. It infects the epithelial cells of skin and mucosa. The epithelial surfaces include all areas covered by skin and/or mucosa such as the mouth, throat, tongue, tonsils, vagina, penis, and anus. Infection with the virus occurs when these areas come into contact with a virus, allowing it to transfer between epithelial cells. From http://www.cdc.gov/std/hpv/STDFact-HPV-and-men.htm#cancer: Certain types of HPV have been linked to cancer of the anus and penis in men. </science lesson>

The Tories have set aside $300-million for an HPV vaccination program for girls aged nine to 11 but debate remains about the long-term effectiveness and morality of the plan. Everyone is always looking out for Ollie.

This reminds me of a news article I read a few days ago. A group of scientists recently discovered that saliva can cause stomach cancer. But only when consumed in small doses over a period of several years.
