Frost-ing retard
A comedy conversation

My flatmate was just in my room, and we were talking. One of the couple who have the lease of the flat came out of their room and started bitching about us talking at 1am. So we started talking more quietly, and her boyfriend stormed out and started yelling at he fact we were still talking. He made us sound lazy for staying up late and sleeping in. We're Frost-ing students, and Emma works at night anyway. Emma asked him if he'd considered ear plugs and he went off his nut, yelling that we're inconsiderate. So Emma mentioned the fact that this guy and his girlfriend are always screaming at each other, and he told us we're welcome to leave. Is it just me or is he being entirely unreasonable? I'm having a quiet conversation in my own bedroom. Bear in mind he's done his at 10pm.

I would tell him to mind his own damn business and then invest in a slingshot for when he comes to complain again in the future. As for the slingshot-aim for the nuts or eyes-that will learn him good!

It's one thing for him to ask you to stop but it's another thing for him to make it personal and start insulting you. Invite him to GAB.

I know, that's what made Emma snap and start bitching back.

I barely slept at all last night because my flatmates decided to have a conversation at 2pm. They are all students, two of which have night jobs, but I work during the day so I appreciate being able to sleep in the early hours of the morning, so you'd think I'd sympathise with your sleepy housemate. The difference in this situation, however, is one of my flatmates was standing at the top of the stairs during the conversation (very close to my door), the second was in their room at the bottom of the stairs, and then as near as I can tell the third was in the kitchen, which is downstairs at the back of the house. Needless to say, this was not a conversation of moderate volume, let alone a quiet chat.

Umm, 2am not 2pm. I'm at work at 2pm and the flatmates are still sleeping because they are Frost-ing lazy students with night jobs. . .Oops. Sorry Jaggy.

Oh, is this actually someone who is leasing their own flat to you? Then yeah. They do win. I thought it was just a normal houseshare. Although, if they didn't realise that noise at night goes hand in hand with leasing to students, then they are truly retarded.

I don't know about the laws in Zulu-land, or whereever-the-hell-Godforsaken place you live in, but even a verbal agreement to lease pretty much gives you all the rights in suit happy America. You can stay up all night having loud freaky sex with your apartment mate* and there is little they can do. *I highly recommend this and make video.

<action>points and laughs at everyone</action> My roomate for a little over a year had a studio, in our living room. I sleep through earthquakes. One night the liquor store 50 feet from our apartment burned down. From what everyone tells me there was a small army of fire trucks parked outside our open window with sirens blaring. Yes I realize I will most likely be killed in my sleep because I can literally sleep through anything, but I think its worth it if it means I'm not awakened by talking.

My ex-housemate was a gigging musician who played the trumpet. My room was downstairs and quite often he would come home from a gig and carry on playing at 2am whilst I was desperatly trying to sleep. He also threw loud parties in the kitchen (next to my room) whilst I was trying to sleep. And he thought washing up liquid gave you leukaemia. Frostin' freak.

No, it's not their own flat, they just deal with the landord, and we pay our rent to them.

I'm a shift worker, and I live in the barracks, so I have to put up with this Shakespeare constantly when I'm on night shift. ask the neighbor to turn his Shakespearety rap music down to a reasonable level at 1pm so I can get some sleep in before night shift. He basicaly tells me to Frost off So, the next night, I do one of two things put either the amp or the wubwoofer right against the wall next to his bed and play some loud ass metal. and when he complains, laugh at him and slam the door in his stupid Frost-ing face

next time piss him off by saying. Look I didnt moan when you and your girlfriend were humping really loudly the other day. (making a point of stating the day as one you knew he was at work) Then sit back, and watch the sparks fly.
