This is weird. I had no idea that the Starry Nights commercial debuted during Monday night football, of all things. Now Spartan 117 is all over television and was on the cover of Time.
Ever notice that just about everyone in the mainstream media calls him the Master Chief Rather than Spartan 117?

In about a week there will be a defeaning boom as neckbeard-toting nerds pop simultaneous boners at Halo 3's release. No amount of Mountain Dew will quell their clammy lust.

I'm quite the gamer, and I couldn't give a flying Frost about Halo 3.
First one was alright. Second one they dumbed down for the no-neck frathouse mouthbreathers, with considerable success evident in their sales. If the trend continues Halo 3 will consist of pushing a single button faster and faster, resulting in pretty explosions, moronic one-liners, and maybe the occasional boob to keep them interested.

Taco, that's his official designation. He refers to himself as Spartan 117 in Halo 2's final cut scene, right before he says he intends to finish the fight.

Seriously, you owe it to yourself to play the game in Campaign Mode all the way through at least once. Killing your friends is fun, but there are all kinds of interesting challenges in Campaign Mode.

I bought Halo 2 after I got my 360, since my original Xbox crapped out before Halo 2 was released. I never play it because multi-player is filled with people who have been playing for years, and because the single player is meh. But I will still get Halo 3.
