(insert Skippy "you're too fat blah blah" joke here) All that aside, I didn't die. Myself and several other ASC girls were in the school-owned apartments. Since we were on the third floor with tons of windows in a shoddily build complex we decided we had a better change of survival running a block down the road to the cafeteria to hide in the basement. It was super scary, and we were all soaking wet and crying and holding each other.

Since you didn't mention either a trailer, your dentures, or getting interrupted during sex with a close relative, I'm guessing this is the same as every other Atlanta-area tornado warning: BullShakespeare.

Nope. It's true. However I live on the Northsiiiiiiiiide so it's not affecting us. In fact, I'm heading out right now to take 4 teenage girls to "teen night" at a club. I sure hope there is a Starbucks close by so I can go get all hopped up on espresso and get home quicker.

You people in Atlanta proper can all suck it. We had one touch down a few miles from us. Blew over a house, flipped a car, knocked over some trees and pissed off some cows. Also brought out the toothless wonders to talk to the reporters. Just another Sunday in paradise.

Mrs. Fratberry and I were listening to the NWS warnings when the canned voice mentioned the town of Equality, Alabama. We just kinda looked at each other, shrugged and went, "Okaaaaay".

You call that a storm? Psh. Today here in PA it was very brisk. And I didn't even have a scarf! I was mildly uncomfortable!

Pussies. Lila once survived an earthquake, flood, tsunami, cyclone, and locust swarm all in one day. And then she didn't have heat, electricity, running water or broadband access for six months. And did she complain? Actually, she did. Over and over again. For a period of several years.

Whistler, you're confusing Lila with one of the Pharaohs. I wouldn't let here hear you say that. Maybe you should try the edit button.

I've slept through a hurricane, earth quake and a tornado (which incidentally went over my complex and wiped out the rich folks the next few blocks over. I figure if it ever happens again I'll wake up without a roof, wondering why my cats are in the trees along with my underwear.

If it was a real tornado you wouldn't have electric. How does it feel to be a liar? From the AJC: "Brandon Keeler was on Sugarloaf Parkway by I-85 in Gwinnett County when he saw a funnel descend from a cloud about two miles to the north. The wind was so strong it knocked over at least one sign near his car. "It was kind of scary," said Keeler, the night reporter for WDUN 550 radio. "I got out of there." " Funny, that's right where I was sitting in a Starbucks enjoying my espresso. Again, I tempt fate.
