It's not supposed to be hot during Christmas; but in South Texas, unfortunately, it is.   The temperature gets down to freezing once every 3 years.

These charts are of a city in South Texas.  Snowfall is not even on the charts.

On December 24, 2004 the "MIRACLE" happened.  It snowed from 9pm Christmas Eve till about 6 am on Christmas Morning.

Everyone was so excited to see snow for the first time in their lives.  Gas was cheap and the snow was falling.

The satellite image shows where the snow had fallen.

Some people made lots of money selling several different books about snow.  These are some of the pictures you'll see in these books.

South Texas had not recorded snowfall in most parts for about 100 years.  As quickly as the snow arrived, it was gone.  Christmas Day was hot and all the snow melted away.  People in South Texas expect snow every year now.  I don't think we'll ever see it again for another 50 years.   Christmas of 2004 was the best Christmas I ever had and we just have to wait to see if it gets any better.

Choche, please tell all your fellow Texans to pick up and move to North Dakota.  They can get snow there, or so it is rumored.

The Texans get their snow, the North Dakotans finally get some company, and Mexico gets Texas back.  Everyone's happy.

I'm all FOR it and I'd be glad to help everyone get up and get the hell outta here.  All I've been hearing for the last 4 years is, "snow this and snow that and when will it snow and why hasn't it snowed and I love snow and guess what, I still have snow in the freezer!" 

Well Good For You.  Do you think I care?  How stupid are people to actually put snow in the freezer and save it.  The first hurricane we get will kill the power and guess what? BYE BYE SNOW!!

They will save a cup of hurricane driven flood waters in the fridge, most likely.  Remember to check the sediment for authenticity.
