While the business model suggested in the article below sounds good, I'm not so sure about the hazards of scalded boobies.  I hope the idea spreads to the San Francisco bay Area, where iced coffee is popular year round.

I don't think even a topless coffee shop is going to bring people to Vassalboro. There is not much there, really.  The hotel or motel or whatever where they want to put it is sitting on a hill in the middle of nowhere.  It's got a pretty view, though.



There were already two topless coffee shops in Portland, Maine.  I don't know if either is still around.  One was at the strip club after hours and open to early morning.  The other one was the same deal, but at a bar.



Personally, I think it's stupid.  I don't want to look at naked flesh while eating breakfast.  But then, I'm not a guy.  I've been to strip clubs, and it seems to me that the drinks are overpriced and crappy.  I would think the coffee would also be overpriced and crappy at a topless coffee shop.

Coffee shops? Great places to hang out and listen to music if you're in a good town. Coffee is great. I love coffee.

Topless women? That goes without saying- awesome.

However, I draw the line at topless-women-in-a-coffee-shop. Although it would certainly wake you up in the mornings, it'd probably be out of business due to waitresses suing from second-degree burns on their most 'outstanding' features. Ouch. Besides, it'd be a bit like Hooter's. It just gets a bit too smutty.

Also, this is begging me to say... 2 girls, 1 cup... of Hot Coffee.
