Have a good day.
What the hell kind of suggestion is that?
It doesn't even make sense -- Think about it.
Why would you tell me to have a good day?
You say that as if you have already assumed that today, I've decided to Shakespeare all over myself and be as pessimistic as possible.
You don't need to remind me to have a good day.
Everyone wakes up planning on having one of those.
If you really want to be nice and go out of your way to improve the quality of my life, do me a favor and tell me a joke or something.
You want to get my day started right? Tell me a good knock knock.
Put a smile on my face.
Don't give me some half ass suggestion that everyone gives to everyone else because they aren't creative enough to come up with their own material.
Have a good day my ass.
You're just lazy.
I'm serious. STOP telling people to "Have a good day."
They get it!
We all want everyone else to have a good day.
How about telling yourself to have a good day and sparing me your rhetoric.
If I get in a car accident, lose my job and walk in on my wife cheating on me with my lesbian sister today, your suggestion from that morning is not going to make a damn bit difference.
Instead of saying "Have a good day.", how about saying "You are effing incredible."
If you're going to bull Shakespeare someone, bull Shakespeare them right.
That would get my day started off with a smile.
Whatever. It doesn't matter.
You're still going to tell people to "Have a good day.", and so will I.
Have a good day. Ugh.
