MY EYES!!!!!
A comedy conversation by KChikita Banana Box 47,346 10

For the past few months, our office fluorescent lighting has been on the dim side of normal, which is absolutely perfect. It's not so bright that copy paper reflects into your eyes, but not so dim that you feel like you're at a shady Mexican Restaurant.

Today I came in and the maintenance man had replaced the fluorescent fixture directly in front of my glass-front office with the brightest fluorescent bulbs you can buy without a contractor's license.

Seriously, it's like a hospital in here now. And it's shining directly into my face, since I have my monitors facing away from the general populace so I can surf the net all day without anyone knowing.

We went from perfection;

to surgical lighting.

And now I can see all the dirty pictures and phrases people have drawn into the dust on my office windows. Nice.

How do you have a perfect "before" photo when there wasn't a reason for it until after?

Is it because its a web cam and you had previous pics of that area? If that is the case you must have some good dirt and pics on fellow employee's - that's would be good stuff to post.

How do you have a perfect "before" photo when there wasn't a reason for it until after?

Also, what a coincidence that the same guy is standing near the window in the exact same position in both photos! What are the odds?

Mailman, you're throwing wrenches into my time warp explanation before I could even get it started!

Dark, light, it's all the same: Just a depressing, soul sucking, gopher-head-popping, cube farm...similar to the one I'm in now.

Seriously. How the hell did you get that "before" picture? Is there some sort of weird image sorcery out there that I'm not aware of?

WITCH!!!

It's just the power of photoshopism and/or gimpism, and that depends on being a hippie or a pirate...

I for one, bow to the gimp-witch of the gnu.

(I'm not doing this right, right?)

fluorescent lighting is from the devil. Anyone see Joe V. the Volcano?

First thing I did when I opened my office is rip out all the flourescent lighting and go to ceiling cans, where my wife promptly installed the new eco-fluorescent lightbulbs.

For crying out loud, all you need is any photo editing software and just fiddle with the brightness/contrast. It's a great way to lighten up pictures so you better see what's going on. You can go from this to this in moments. Isn't that so much better?

I just wanted them to sweat a little trying to figure out how I did it, since it seemed to be such a Frost-ing enigma.

It's not an ACTUAL shot of my office. I'd never post that here ya weirdos. It's an EXAMPLE.

So you went to someone else's office to take the before shot then.

Using advanced Hindsight technology, I'm going to take a picture of Kchiki's office from a time before the first picture. If you go back a little further, you can see that it was really dark.
