Wrong-way driver in crash that killed 8 was drunk, high
A mother drank vodka and smoked marijuana while driving a vanload of children before she crashed into an SUV, killing eight people downstate, police said.
I guess if you wanna off yourself and take a few people with you, its as good a way to do it as any....

This guy a few weeks ago somehow managed to hit 5 cyclists, and drag them for 120ft before stopping, then drove off anyway. He turned himself in 4 hours later. He went home to "sleep" at something like 9am on a Saturday. He was probably drunk.
Happened a few blocks from my work.

You're right. Now that the guy has been arrested and will probably be in jail for a number of things probably including man-slaughter, the roads are perfectly safe.
