Christ'd! The Christian Hidden Camera Prank Show!

Hello Readers and Video Watchers!

We are Gideon Lamb and Jeremiah Smallchild of God's Pottery, a Christian acoustic duo formed to spread the Word while addressing the issues facing today's Youth and the Spiritual Community at large. And we are absolutely jazzed to tell you about our new video series, Christ'd! It's a show where we surprise our comedian friends with pranks that are positive and helpful -- sort of like MTV's Punk'd, but with good-natured tricks that are constructive and even educational for our "targets" (and viewers like you)!

"Now hold on..." you may think, "Aren't positive and helpful things usually BORING and NO FUN?!!!" Not in the hands of (semi-)trained (semi-)professionals like us they're not!!! We're so good at making "downer" activities fun that you might say we could sell water in the desert!!!

And let's "get real" here for a second: we really know what the Youth are into these days ("rap" music, Fruit Roll-Ups, etc.), and we know how to relate to them in their language, like a couple of "awesome dudes." You're not going to find many other prank video guys who were awarded "Neatest Ideas" and "Best Listener" ribbons by both their pastor and their youth pastor, so you know you're in good hands! (Seriously, you can ask our pastor, Elaine Lyndale, or our youth pastor, Gregg Storzfuss-Rassmussen.)

Considering our tendency to take on more wholesome projects, you may be wondering why we would choose to imitate a show as harmful and destructive as Punk'd in the first place. (No offense to the multi-talented but morally-challenged Ashton Kutcher, but we do wonder about his motives for being involved with a show that seems like it was created by high school bullies or evil villains. Did he not cause enough pain when he destroyed Demi Moore and Bruce Wallace's perfect marriage?!!!)

Well, we recently wrote a book entitled What Would God's Pottery Do?: The Ultimate Guide to Surviving Your Teens and/or Being Successful!, and though we covered all we meant to cover in that landmark publication, we realized we needed to take things a step further and continue speaking to the Youth in one of the most important medias of their generation: TV/video/movies. We saw firsthand the power of TV/video/movies when we were on NBC's Last Comic Standing, where we were seen by literally hundreds of viewers!

Further, we feel that comedy today has a lot of negativity in it -- like "blond" jokes and "fatso" jokes -- and our good-natured pranks are a fun and instructive way to show people that it's possible to be funny and positive at the same time! As you'll see in these videos, our comedian friends are usually thrilled to be pranked by us, and happy just to hang out with us in general due to our excellent people skills. (This is what economists call a "win-win situation," like when someone who has too much money pays a lot of it to someone who has too little money, and each is happy to help the other have just enough money.)

It's a big honor to have such wholesome family entertainment on our site, and I hope you will all give God's Pottery the positive feedback and ratings they deserve.

Otherwise you're going to hell.

John, if you look at the threads here and here you'll see that many of us are already pre-booked for hell so I'm not worried about the wrath of this "God" fellow.

Besides, everyone knows that Flying Spaghetti Monsterism is the one and only true religion.

Sadly, I don't think that guy is wearing a "virginity rocks" shirt with any sort of irony.

I did not know Bruce changed his last name.

Back when I was a GABber, I understood irony and other subversive forms of humor, and even enjoyed a humorous essay from time to time. Now that I'm a ZuGLiver, though, I'm not smart enough for any of that and can only appreciate pranks.

So, as far as pranks go, that one sucked. Even the victim didn't find any humor in it.

I bet I would have loved it last year, though.

Oh, and for what it's worth, I think it would make an excellent introductory scene for a gay porn movie.

Well you had me going until this line:

No offense to the multi-talented but morally-challenged Ashton Kutcher

No one, is dumb enough to think Ashton Kutcher is "multi-talented".

Today at work, my lab partner asked for a Sharpie marker...

and I handed him a pencil!

I totally Christ'd that Frost-ing bitch. I laughed and laughed!

Just who do ya'll expect to fool into thinking that's a hidden camera? That makes no sense.

Oh wait... I forgot ya'll are going after folks that readily buy that Jesus story. Well, looks like you got your work cut out for you.

You know what? You guys are right. We should offer positive jests with a good message, that encourage people to better themselves (possibly through Christ). So in honour of these pranks, I will change my ways.

The old Ravos
"Stop being a lard-ass, lard-ass."

The New Ravos
"Hey Lardass! Why don't you go exercise and lose some weight, so you can stop being a lardass. Lardass"

See? A positive message with constructive criticism to inspire people to be their best, and I get that warm fuzzy feeling from helping people. Now that is what I call win-win!

Wow, I feel so squeaky clean after watching those videos, that I think I'm going to have to sacrifice TWO goats to my dark master tonight.
