Ie(tm)M PRO-CHOICE! I think you should have complete and totally control over your body. I think everyone has the right to choose weather they walk or not. If people want to be in wheel chairs, braces, or use other walking aids; thate(tm)s fine with me. Ie(tm)ved used them before. I didne(tm)t enjoy it. It was very painful and emotionally upsetting. Oh I know what the other side says: eoeIt was your own doing; if you would of been more careful, used better safety line, none of this would have happened.. Ite(tm)s my body and if I want to go mountain climbing; Ie(tm)ll go mountain climbing. And if I get hurt; Ie(tm)ll use crutches or any other aid to get around. And to those who say; you cane(tm)t totally control your body: just wait science will catch up and no one will ever have to be sick or hurt again for their choices. Now who do we sue for control over our genetic disorders and such?

I thought that too, or maybe somewhere in the northeast, but then I looked it up and a bunch of stuff about the Peoria's popped up in Oklahoma, and you can't blame them if they came to Texas to get away from OK.
That move is at least acceptable, regardless of what you think about Texas.

For some strange reason I thought everyone would be making with the funny about that crazy lady(not me this time)who had 15 abortions. I was trying to be sarcastic about the pro-lifers always spouting off about it's their body; so they should be able to kill unwanted fetuses. You can't control everything about your body. You can control weather or not you have an abortion. The only time there should be an abortion is when the mother will definately die from being pregnant. You should take no innocent life; except maybe your own. Sorry to be so politicaly
I just wanted to explain my post. Yes the pro-life walking thing was supposed to be funny.

All this, I have to go to the bathroom when I'm busy, what the hell. Interuptions, interuptions. And that is why I don't ususally spellcheck. I have haft ta go potty; or help my little one wipe. Or when the mother is going to give birth to someone as idiotic as Grace.
Or when she thinks that's what's best for her and her family. Mind your own uterus, squaw.

I never understood how aborting a baby is less emotionally painful than giving the baby up for adoption.
But I would try in Whistler's case. That abortion would be what, in the 600th month.
Why do many pro-lifers think abortion is ok, but think the death penalty is wrong? I'm serious; I just don't get it.

It might not just be a question of emotional pain. There are often financial considerations, or the possibility of physical pain. That's right - physical abuse of women by their partners escalates exponentially during pregnancy. There's also the possibility of more than just pain.
Yes, the leading cause of death for pregnant women in the United States is MURDER. Does the name Laci Peterson ring a bell?
But I would try in Whistler's case. That abortion would be what, in the 600th month.
Very close. 589th month. Come on and try.
And I don't think abortion is okay. I think it's a reality, and a necessity in many cases. It's going to happen whether it's legal or not. The best to hope for is that when it happens it does so with proper medical advice and attention.

As far as the death penalty goes, it's a visceral reaction to desire it for heinous crimes, but, unfortunately, the press and the justice system are often wrong and/or unjust in the call for it and the application of the law.
Over 1000 people have been executed since the death penalty was reinstated in 1973. Appeals and DNA tests aren't routinely done for those who have already been executed, so we have no way of knowing how many were wrongfully executed, but there are at least four I can think of who have been posthumously exonerated even without the use of DNA evidence.
DNA evidence has exonerated 135 people who have been sentenced to die (but not yet executed). That's out of 6000 (approximately) sentenced to die since 1973. That's 2.25%. At least 1000 are still waiting for the evidence in their cases to be re-examined.
Witnesses lie, cops lie, snitches lie.
That's not even starting to look at the statistics regarding who is charged with capital murder and who is not (hint: the darker you are, the more likely you are to face the death penalty; the poorer you are, the more likely you are to face the death penalty). Rich white people get better lawyers and get charges reduced. Or get off. All due respect to O.J. Simpson. I guess celebrity is as good as white. Do a little research. Race is not a factor in murder - a white person is just as likely to commit murder as a black person is. Race is a factor, though, in arrest rates, conviction rates and execution rates.
Cops are racist, prosecutors are racist, judges are racist, juries are racist.
It's not so much that the death penalty itself is wrong (though I think it is), but that its application is wrong.

I think a really advanced society would have no death penalty because they had compassion even for their lowest members (who would be humanely imprisoned). It would have no abortion because the economic and social reasons a woman would want an abortion would be removed, and because citizens would be properly educated about sex and birth control.
Now I ask you: why is it the same people who oppose abortion don't want their children properly educated in sexuality and birth control?
But don't answer. We're getting to HoB-ish already.

If it was a visceral reaction for wanting to see that John Couey guy set on fire and dipped in battery acid, then I'm just a visceral person.
Others that should receive the death penalty:
1. The person(s) responsible for bringing onions to the United States.
C. People that do 55 mph in the fast lane.
7. John Mayer (noise pollution).
2. Anyone who posts unfunny stuBLAM!

HOB is a website developed by Codeslave, who was heavily involved in the creation of Zug. There are a handful of people that post on Live and HOB. I believe Dogs and Phla still do this.
Many of the now extinct gAbbers still post on HOB. From time to time, they'll start treads here on Live to start trouble. They can usually be identified by very low member numbers and odd custom icons.
That's all for todays lesson. Tomorrow we'll learn colors!
