Canada's known for lots of great things, like ... hmm ... one sec ... give me a moment ... oh right, having insanely cold winters. Also, some of them totally know how to speak French. However unknown to most Americans is the fact that Canadians can actually be quite funny. Their hidden camera show Just For Laughs relies on pranking unsuspecting people going about their everyday business.
And "everyday business" includes going to the bathroom.
Bathrooms have locks on the door for a reason -- they're meant to be a private space to do some personal business. However, Just For Laughs never got that memo and they took toilet humor to a whole new level.
Warning: While these three pranks will definitely make you laugh, they're also guaranteed to give you huge bathroom anxiety issues for pretty much the rest of your life.
1. The Traveling Conference Room. No one chooses to use a port-a-potty unless they desperately need to use a bathroom. So imagine spotting a port-a-potty in a an empty parking lot, relieving yourself (while holding your nose), and stepping out only to find yourself intruding on a business meeting. It's probably the only instance in which you would ever leave a port-a-potty, turn around, and choose to lock yourself back in.
We hate port-a-pottys so much that if we had been carrying a briefcase and wearing a business suit, we would have grabbed a seat and sat down, rather than going back in.
2. The Port-A-Potty That's Always Occupied. The general rule of using a toilet is that you want things to go down and NOT come back up. However Just For Laughs breaks all the rules when they actually put someone in the toilet to pop up his head as soon as the door is locked.
While the head certainly cracked himself up with every scare, he took a huge risk by sitting in that toilet. At any second someone with explosive ... issues could have ran in and just went for it.
3. The Hallway That Turns into a Toilet. An office can be a confusing place with lookalike cubicles, endless corridors and ... moving bathrooms. Yep, Just for Laughs took advantage of innocent temporary workers by leading them into an office, only to block the exit with a brand new bathroom.
Notice how the bathroom pooper gets increasingly excited each time the door is opened. By the end he's throwing the toilet paper out like it's a set of streamers -- which we totally understand, because there's no better time to party than when going to the bathroom.
So keep in mind if you're traveling to Canada this year for vacation (or free health insurance), pack warm clothes, and make sure to steer clear from public restrooms.
