Awesome. I would also suggest having a "create your own comedy" link on the top. You can increase the number of threads, albeit every asshat that passes by might start spamming the board.

Also, I notice the last updated time is gone. For those for us with short term memory issues, I can see this becoming a serious banana hot fudge sundae.

Do you mean when you leave and come back again? Unless John wants to change the default or make a user pref for it, it's not easily changed.

Do you click a bookmark/link to get here? If so, then bookmark the below and it will default you to the way you want.

Well, I don't know what you did, Analog - but I didn't click on those links yet, and it's actually behaving well.

It was defaulting back when I would quit out of Firefox and come back to the site. It would remember my preference for the session but not when I leave and come back. I thought maybe it was connected to the "Back to Zug Live" button, but that's behaving now, too. Well, in any case...

Some sections/forums (articles,pics,links etc) default to "most viewed" while others (like the main live page) default to recent (and some even default to funniest).

There are a couple of things we to in order to try to keep your initial sort set to whatever you start with, so at long as your 1st click into Zug is set to what you want it should stay that way.

For me personally, I want my zug to show me everything sorted by the most recent post/reply first

You could also have it as "Most Viewed First"

@Disco - IMO you are right, that google search is terrible, thank god I don't have to use it :) - if more people hate the search then speak up so John will let us make one that works lol

My modus operandi: bookmarked profile page and then I go to the live homepage from the link down the bottom of that page. Creature of habit.

Oh wait - from my profile it sorts as I requested (most recent), but from THIS thread, going back to the LIVE page by the link at the bottom, it defaults to (Most Viewed). Oh, I'm so confused. Whatever. I don't care anymore. If I make comments in real old threads, you'll know why!
