I hadn't seen it before, and I found it only mildly amusing. Here's a little ZuGLive hint for you: scouring you tube for funny video clips doesn't make you funny. It's not orb-worthy. If you want to make it orb-worthy, you'll have to add a witty commentary or critique of your own to the post.

We're not going to reward the person who comes here with the funniest thing they've found. I'm not a video guy (I'll leave that to Brad), I'm a word guy. It would be like me copying and pasting Carlin and Pryor jokes here. Would you think I was funny if I did that?

Originality is the key to getting orbs. There's a lot of funny stuff out there. If you want to find it and bring it here, great. But if you want to gather those precious golden spheres, you'll have to bring something of your own with it.

First of all, I do not "scour" YouTube for funny videos. This was sent to me and I thought people here would enjoy watching it. I was not trying to be "funny" myself.
Secondly, very few things posted here are actually funny. There are a select few people posting here that actually have an innate sense of humor. Since the website touts the word "prank" as its feature, I saw nothing wrong with sharing a prank with others here. What about the joke threads? are those jokes original, or were they copied from another source? I'm a word guy. It would be like me copying and pasting Carlin and Pryor jokes here.
To be clear, I was not looking to be the funniest person on Zug. I was trying to entertain other members, or read their comments about the prank itself. Perhaps I was wrong to think that anyone here would be entertained by this prank, but I am right about one thing. I don't have to be belittled, talked down to, or "educated" by you or anyone else here. If you think that's funny, then you are in the right place. At least you have no chance of having your ass kicked for it.
To all of you on Zug who ARE funny, I wish you the best. As for me, I will look elsewhere for comedy.

Momb don't worry about what Whistler says, he's been poked in the brain by a few too many dicks. Chill out a little, and just keep putting up things you like until you get kicked out or something. Don't run off. Somebody else might like it. This place isn't about what only one or even a handful of people's tastes in humor are, it's about variety.

If you want things to get away from the dipShakespeare style hostility, make posts that promote what you'd like to see more of. I guess. Also, don't take any advice from me.

You seemed perplexed as to why you weren't getting any response to your lame ass post. I offered an explanation. If you don't like my opinion, feel free to go Frost yourself ignore it.

And please, don't feel so special as to take anything I say personally. I couldn't give a rat's ass about you. I can't even remember your screen name right now. offer this advice and encouragement for the entire community, not just for you.

Although he is very, very old, he has a point. If we don't let people know how to be funny on zug, they'll just do whatever they want, which is usually not funny. And then zug will be less funny. And then we nerds who like to sit and spit out saltine crackers laughing at nonsense in the internets will have to return to the real world.

And the real world doesn't want us back in any shape or form.
