The Viagra e-mail spammers are truly losing their minds. Here's your chance to win $250.00 in Amazon gift certificates by making fun of them.

It started with all the bizarre misspellings of Viagra to try to get past our spam filters, like "V1@graA" and "VIIIAGRAAAA," which sounds like something you'd yell into a lonely canyon. Then came the incomprehensible subject lines like "Meds for yr hardness" and "Enlarge it NOW!!" which many people click because they think it's a coupon for photo enlarging. Surprise, grandma!

Now the Viagra spammers are going completely mental. The new trick is to use e-mails containing a single image, but look at the kind of image they're using:

Actual Viagra spam e-mail.

Let's begin with the creepy "counting hands," in which the last one contains six fingers. Now, most people avoid drugs that may cause them to grow spare fingers, as they are usually associated with congenital birth defects. Note that the extra-finger drug is the most expensive, so maybe they're trying to market to wealthy, highly skilled tuba players.

Then there's the creepy Twilight guy, completely drained of color except for his right hand (he's clearly waiting for that sixth finger to grow in), and obscured by strange vision spots across the entire ad. These do not sound like side effects I want from the mysterious unlabeled medications above. But I guess that's what you can expect from a company called "Yonaayvupo Inc."

Think you can do better? Our contest for this month is to create the funniest Viagra spam e-mail. This can either be text, graphics, or some combination. The funniest three entries, as determined by YOUR votes, will win $100.00, $100.00, and $50.00 Amazon.com gift certificates, respectively -- courtesy of our sponsor 121doc.co.uk, which does NOT spam.

To enter the contest, just click on the button below, and submit your entry as a new article. We'll add the "Funniest Viagra Spam" automatically. Entries will be accepted through 11:59 pm on January 31, 2010.

Best of all, we'll pass along the winning entry to the Pfizer corporation, makers of Viagra, and ask them to use it in an upcoming ad campaign. Good luck!
