Anyone who receives forwarded emails from their friends has probably already seen this recent jewel:

Unfortunately these knitted gems (or fleece gems?) from Japan don't appear to be for sale, but were created for a museum exhibition.
They come in green?

Look at those sporting tattoos! ...and horray! They're not just for women!

I wonder if John will have to censor knitted nipples? I hope not!
The boob scarves are decidedly more attractive to wear than the Digestive System Scarf which runs from the tongue to the anus. (Hey, get your mind out of the gutter!)

Doesn't the pancreas look like corn on the cob? Mmm!
And they're much less idiotic than overheating your computer by using one of these.

Everyone needs a thneed?
What weird handmade projects have you seen recently that spell FAIL or AWESOMENESS in your book?

Hell yeah we do! It seems appropriate for just such an occasion when you need to Frost an unwilling member in the ass.

I'm glad they went to the effort to coordinate the sagginess of the scarves with the age of the models.

I think it was taken at the airport. All airports must shop for rugs and chairs at the same store.
Cool link, Luke. I do love knitting and - now I'll also have to watch that movie, heh. (I'm very out-of-the-loop.)

I knit a bit, I made a bright pink willy-warmer. I made a lil kitty (which I've posted here before). I made my friends son a green dinosaur, my bofriend and mum a phonesock, my mum a scarf, and I have a bear that I'm doing but can't bring myself to finish as it looks pretty special. As in, needs. I know - retardobear.

Glad you liked it - fans of fun knitting (not just patterns, but the sheer spirit of loving wrapping threads) should check out Aran Brewing. It's written by my cyborg friend in Ireland, it's about beer and knitting, and it's been featured in the Irish Times. Enjoy!

I just learned to knit and I'm working on a scarf. I haven't yet figured out how to go in a circle to actually make any enclosing things.

Hey Kchiki, circ knitting is actually REALLY easy if you use the circular needles joined by plastic thread - you basically just keep knitting - no changing needles, just knit til you puke, cast off. Nice tubey thing to do stuff with. I'm on Ravelry if you're interested.

I have an idea. I want to knit a little bag for the end of my poopie hole. It can collect the nice poopies that fall out during the day and keep them warm and steamy in this cold. Mmm.... I prefer warm poopies over frozen poopcicles.
