Louie Saunders made all the smartest preparations for his holidays: booking flights, wrapping gifts, giving his apartment keys to a friend to look after the place. He only made one mistake: not choosing a "friend" who'd prank him over.
Adal Rifai, the so-called friend, decided that only wrapping presents for Christmas was extreme underachieving, so he recruited fifteen further friends to gift wrap every single thing in sight.
How much wrapping paper is too much wrapping paper?
This. This is too much wrapping paper.
We're powerful proponents of prank preparation time here at ZUG, understanding that the single shocking moment is well worth investing hours beforehand. But beware pranks which result in hours of anti-preparation after the fact: it's okay to spend a day gift-wrapping your friend's house, but Louie'll find out if he has any real friends by counting the number of people helping him undo the damage.
It took one hundred and eight man hours to wrap everything, and that's in a festive "this'll be so fun" environment, and probably drunk. The hilarity might decay slightly for Saunders after the eightieth incidence of anything-doing being interrupted by bright festive packaging.
We're not saying it isn't funny. We're not saying they shouldn't have done it. We're just saying that a certain sixteen people should be ready to jump out of the way of a dump-truck loaded with wrapping paper in a few weeks.
