My GAB Nightmare
A comedy conversation

There were actually no raptors in it this time around, so I think that phase of my life has moved on. Instead, there was a huge, insane genetically-modified dog beast that had a taste for human flesh. A lot of its muscle and sinew was exposed, and it was about as large as a horse.
At first things started out normal - well, as normal as my dreams get - in that I was watching Frat play a video game. It was a first-person shooter. That morphed into both of us being IN the video game, and I didn't have a gun. He would cover me while he slayed dozens of mean-ass mother-Frosters - guys dressed in combat gear with the solitary goal of taking both Frat and I out.
Then all of a sudden, I had a gun, but I was too scared to use it, and I hid while Frat shot up the place. The scene changed to one where we had been captured, but allowed to roam the boss-guy's compound freely. That's when someone let the dog out.
There were dozens of GABbers at the compound, though some of them I didn't recognize until I heard them screaming. Frat and I, along with 3 other people, locked ourselves in the bathroom, which for some reason had two separate doors - one that was just a slatted bifold closet door. The dog would throw itself against the flimsy door and we would all scream.
Finally, Frat had enough of this, and he threw open the door while the dog was busy chewing on Ravos' carcass down the hall. (It had already eaten parts of Jeeni and Straw.) When the dog turned around, Frat shot out both of its eyes.
Then my daughter texted me and woke me up.
Thanks for the scary dream again Frat!

It's funny because I had a GAB dream of sorts last night too. I was in a hotel in Gatlinburg of all places and GABbers kept calling me trying to talk me into going out to see a movie. But every time one of them would call me I'd get a call on the other line that was a prank phone call. When I'd click back over the first person had hung up too. Come to think of it, you guys weren't trying to get me out of the hotel room at all. YOU WERE TRYING TO KEEP ME THERE YOU BASTARDS!!1!11

I assumed the italicized 'nay' was calling her a horse, and thus comparing her to Sarah Jessica Parker.

I like Pram. He's not stupid, he's talented, and he can be funny. I have hope that with the right combination of medications and a good bitch slapping, he can be made into a useful participant here.
As far as the other two go, I'm going to abide by the policy my mother taught me: if you can't say something nice, then shut the Frost up.

Fear not, there's still plenty of good ole, humorless trolling. You don't have to feel alone.

Oh, and Jeeni, you weren't missing any limbs. Just most of your abdomen and chest. Blech. You were wearing some weird outfit too - hot pink polyester shorts that made your ass look like a hippo and a very mod, graphic, circle print shirt. You never had a shot at hiding in that thing.
Ravos was the one with no arms or legs left. Straw was identifiable only by her hair and the fake phaser on the floor beside her.
Normally, I'm really, really good at directing my dreams. Meaning, if I wanted to do so, I could dream this exact same dream again tonight. I can do this several nights in a row, with little to no difficulty. However, this was truly a nightmare and I will be avoiding the thought of it as much as possible when I go to sleep tonight.

It's funny when I read your description of the dream, I thought of Harry Potter too, but it was Fluffy that came to mind.
My image for Ravos has always been somewhat like Rocky the Flying Squirrel, because I think when Ravos first started posting, squirrel was part of his name.

That is fairly accurate. Except I would have had a sombrero instead of that pilot cap. Although I got to wear a hat like that when I went sky-diving.
So I guess your image of me is completely accurate.
And AC, I gotta admit, that was pretty good. I gave you 5 orbs.

Yes, you should have qualified your 'trapped in the elevator' scenario. Wearing sneakers wouldn't be so bad - but I would recommend NO open-toe shoes.
