What would YOU do?
An idea challenge by UnderWhere? 99,723 76

Spicey and I started a new diet exactly a week ago, because we're both fat. This morning we weighed ourselves and discovered that I had lost 3.7 pounds, and he had lost 10. What a Frost-ing Emerson show-off. I was so happy for him!

Anyway, we both have a long way to go, but I was wondering - if you suddenly went from fat to skinny, what activity would you look forward to doing? (Besides touching your toes for the first time, or being able to look down and actually see your dick?)

Also, feel free to add any weight loss or healthy eating tips that you might have.

Eating an entire family-sized bucket of fried chicken by myself. With gravy.

Clothes shopping is definitely less depressing. Not swimsuit shopping, though. That's still depressing.

Undies, do you know about Hungry Girl? I've subscribed to her e-mail updates for awhile now. I found out over the holidays, when I saw her logo on the iCarly show, that her husband is Dan Schneider. He's the creator of iCarly, but more importantly he was on the show Head of the Class and was the creepy neighbor boy in Better Off Dead. He's a cool dude who used to be pretty big, but when I saw him in a cameo on iCarly, it looks like his wife is a good influence on him.

Good luck, y'all!

I just learned two new things today.

1. Dennis Blunden

is to blame for iCarly.

2. Straw has a preteen girl living in her house.

That's the only reasonable excuse for even knowing what iCarly is.

I am currently working on going from not-quite-chubby-but-not-thin-anymore to thin, and the first thing I'm going to do is send a picture to my kinda-ex boyfriend who just moved to the other side of the country for grad school and see if he will move back if I'm thin.

After he reminds me that he's not coming back, I'm going to cry into a bucket of pudding and gain the weight back.

It just has to be very, very dark inside the bedroom.

Of course, he didn't leave because I'm not thin, but girl brains are good at distorting the situation so that their looks are to blame. Fo realz, though, this is what I would do: I'd start wearing my minidresses as dresses again instead of long shirts.

Good job on the weight loss! Keep it up!

Be happy that you were both fat when you met. At least you know that he really loves you for you.

The other day I asked my boyfriend what he would do if I suddenly gained 30 pounds and was unable to lose the weight. Without skipping a beat he said that he would leave me immediately.

I told him that one day when I'm in the hospital dying of Anorexia I would remind him of this conversation.

Gah! I wasn't THAT fat when we first met. He was, but that didn't bother me much at all, even though I'd never hooked up with a big guy, much less dated one. He had this slow, quiet voice that made me stop and listen to what he was saying, and he had these deep blue eyes that I couldn't stop staring into. His crazy curly hair caught my attention, and he had me laughing within the first minute of meeting him.

Basically everything about him made my knees quiver and fall open.

Here we are, 15 minutes before I took his virginity, right after we first met:

Weight loss stories? Well, I lost 110lbs in a year once. And I have kept it off and continued to drop more weight slowly over the past 5 years. Didn't use fad diets, or lipo, or pills or anything. Previous weight was 340lbs, current weight is 200lbs.

There isn't actually all that much I do now that I couldn't do before. Infact, I'd say I can do less now than before, because I still have to watch what I eat pretty carefully so I don't gain it back. I haven't had chocolate in 4 or 5 years. Mere mortals would perish.

I have mentioned my weight loss on here before. I would like to say that it was due to lots of hard work and will power, but that's not so. There are two things mainly responsible for it:

1) I take thyroid replacement hormone and my dosage was way too high.

2) My dad was going through chemo and was very, very sick. He couldn't eat anything without throwing up. I felt so bad for him that I developed this bad association with food. Food made me think of him, so I didn't want anything to do with it.

The second one I wouldn't recommend. The first one brings anxiety, diarrhea, and heart palpitations along with the weight loss, but that's a small price to pay.

My ex-husband is a super-healthy marathon runner type. While we were married, I gained about 20-30 pounds, which I dropped once we broke up. I always lose a lot of weight when I dump someone. He never cared if I was fat or skinny.

I've been with Daisy almost seven years (off and on and off and on...) I weigh about 40 pounds more than when we first started dating. He knew me before my divorce when I was heavier, too. He doesn't seem to care--ne never says anything. It helps when your boobs grow two cup sizes.

Of course, he's skinny as hell now, having lost over 40 pounds. Undies, men will always lose more weight than women, and they lose it faster. I had a friend who was fat and he went to Weight Watchers meetings, but he stopped going because he was the only guy and all the women hated him.

First of all, the more you have to lose, the quicker it will go. And though I love that cuddle-bug Spicey, he is larger than you are. Also men have more muscle mass, which helps you burn fat.

I used to be so motivated. The year I turned 40 I lost about 20 pounds (because I hadn't dumped anyone in a couple years, my weight went up). I got back on track and counted my WW points and exercised and all that. Then, I stopped and ended up gaining back 25 in three months.

And then I gained about 15 more. And sometimes 5 more sneak on but then I get rid of them.

I have several problems: laziness, hatred of exercise, and love of food.

I was always skinny growing up, pushing 140, maybe 150, through high school. I've always eaten nothing but grease and carbohydrates (never been a fan of sweets). I'm a firm believer in the fact that everything tastes better fried and salted.

Now that Lobster has moved in with me, I eat more regularly, and healthier I supppose, and my diet consists of more than just grain alcohol, Taco Bell, pot, and cigarettes. I've actually gained a bit of weight that I'm very proud of by eating turkey sandwiches for lunch and real food for dinner. I had a brief physical at work last week, and I weighed in a 191 lbs. It made my freakin' day! Cholesterol and everything checked out okay. I'm still somewhat slim (wear a size 32 pants) but I am sportin' the beginnings of a fine beer belly.

I set a goal on my Wii Fit to get to the obese point (BMI of 30+) for my height, and I'm getting closer every month. I'm not sure what I'll do when I get there, but my goal on it seems way more reasonable and easier than everyone elses on my Wii.

I guess my point is, everyone should try to just sit around, live off of a combination of fast food, cheap whiskey, vodka and beer, and get as little real excercise as possible, but no sweets. (I still crave real food when I get the munchies instead of cake and Shakespeare.) Masturbating even when you're getting laid probably helps too.

That seems to work only for the people with ADHD.

I think it's a gas when the girl asks what an easily distracted guy is thinking about. I guarantee you, this is all that's going on in his head:

Today marks 4 weeks since Spicey and I have been starving ourselves counting calories, and it's all good. I've lost 9.2 pounds total, and he's managed to get rid of 26 pounds. This pisses me off, but I understand that guys are jerks.

So far I haven't been able to fly around using my skin folds but I'm optimistic.

Hey good for you guys for going at it together! It always helps when you have a friend's support. It helps even more when you have a lover's support, since raw, animalistic sex burns about 25 calories/hr, according to the LoseIt app on my iPhone.

Which brings up my how-I-lost-weight story: I am not fat by any means, but I am short. When short people start putting on weight they look like meatballs. I reached my meatball status at a mere 115 lbs. Since they say women should only be 5lbs over 100 for every inch they are over 5 feet (because I could barely understand that, I mean that if you are 5'5", you should be around 125 lbs as a healthy weight), I had to get down to 105 before I killed someone with my lunch-lady arms (Christmas hams).

I did it by using LoseIt, it set up a daily calorie limit that I was to try to stay under, and I'd enter every food I ate that day and see whether or not I could have that chocolate bar later. It also forced me to exercise if I wanted to eat more (I like chocolate).

Anywho, I reached my goal earlier than LoseIt said I would and I did it around Thanksgiving-Christmas. It's great, because I like to eat meatballs, not look like them.

We're using an online program called Calorie Count, which sounds like the one you're describing. However, they say that a "Vigorous Effort" at sex burns 164 calories per hour, and a "Moderate Effort" burns 142. Apparently lying on your back and staring at the ceiling and counting tiles burns 109...according to them.

SO...I guess either your iPhone app was written by someone who spends 5 minutes Frost-ing and 55 minutes crying, or else the people at Calorie Count are the type that like to hang upside down from the roof while being sodomized by tigers.

Yeah, but if you go with the 25/hr one, it's just an excuse to have more sex! (As if you need one.. whore.)

(It's been a while so I don't know if I'm still allowed to jokingly call you a whore. <3chu.)

On the other hand, maybe Calorie Count is right because I reached my goal early, which would make sense if the calories burned during all the exercises was wrong, and I really could've had that chocolate bar if I wanted it. Damn.

If women were rewarded with a guilt-free Snickers after every sex session, I believe we'd be in the mood more often.

I can't remember what TWSS looks like.

I once went from 252 to 196 in six months. I celebrated by putting 15 pounds back on over the next six months. That was a couple of years ago. I'm back up to 225 now for various reasons, like eating, eating, medication and more eating. I've lost some weight but these days it's hard to keep it off with my health being what it is. Later this year I should have better luck. I've said too much.

I wish I hadn't read that. I'm 5'5". I'm not 125 lbs.

But my Wii Fit said I was normal! Do you know how long I waited to hear it tell me that? How long I put up with the female trainer with the lopsided boobies when all I wanted to do was tell her to stick her sun salutation up her ass? You can't take that away from me!!1!!

Shelle, I'm 5'3" and I'm not 125 lbs. Eh. It's weird. I used to have people tell me I was getting "too skinny" at a BMI that was technically normal.

Of course, it's been a LOOOOONG time since someone's told me I was getting too skinny.

Shelle - try using the guy as your trainer. After a while, he cuts off his faggy ponytail and tells you he went to a wild party last night, so he doesn't feel like working out too hard today. Awesome.

Don't feel bad Cyco, this is the internet. Most people on here are overweight guys posting from their mom's basement. That goes double for the girls.

Spicey is currently too fat for wii Fit, but as of today I think he's down like 28 pounds. This means he only has a little more to lose and he'll be able to use it. I've lost over 11 pounds now, but I was never too big to not be able to get on the balance board.

All those height/weight charts are full of Shakespeare. They don't take a lot of the important stuff into consideration. Here's what counts.

Ladies: as long as your gut doesn't stick out farther than your boobs, you're okay.

Gents: as long as you can see your own dick while peeing, you're okay.

I have only lost about 6 pounds in about 2 months, but I have dropped two pants sizes and am working toward another shopping trip for yet a smaller clothes size. I lost 15 inches off my waist, hips, and thighs combined, mostly my waist, and my boobs haven't shrunk yet. I count inches more than pounds, because scales are depressing, but measuring tapes don't lie.

My weight loss regimen-

08:00 am Vitamins- Omega 3, amino acid replacement, and probiotics
08:30 am Vitamins- multivitamin- and a meal replacement shake
10:30 am 20-25 almonds and a piece of fruit
12:00 pm Vitamins- Omega 3 and amino acid replacement
12:30 pm Some sort of protein/vegetable mix, usually chicken salad.
02:30 pm A protein shake a la AC and a whole fruit popsicle.
06:30 pm Dinner. Can be pretty much anything, usually pizza.
09:30 pm One square of Ghiradelli dark chocolate or some ice cream.

I look forward to the vast wardobe I had pre-conception.

Also, being on top without getting lazy and still making him do all the work, being able to go to the playground and my ass fit on the kiddie slide, and not getting weird stares when I order a Big Mac and fries with a large sweet tea.

Oh yeah, I also switched to whole grains- 100% whole grain bread, brown rice, etc. And I don't use sugar substitutes. They make you bloat, and aspartame causes Alzheimer's. Use the real stuff; just don't use as much. Brown sugar is just sugar mixed with molasses, and is not the same as Sugar in the Raw, which is sweeter than processed table sugar. Just in case you were interested.
