Just did a bit of research, or what research can be done without clicking on the links of google so there's no chance of seeing a picture of the spider. Apparently that black stuff was the feces (poop for the less scientific people) of the spider. (maybe)

Ok...I didn't really research anything, but I figured that someone had to offer another explanation besides spider poop.

Also...I would feel so satisfied if I ended up with a big juicy oozing prize like that on the end of a q-tip after just one day.
