Imagine if a talented prankster scammed his way onto say, The Today Show, after convincing Matt Lauer that he was pro-whale killing. And while waiting to be interviewed, he just happened to run into the President of the United States in the Green Room, and the two took a picture together. Man, what a prank that would be!

Formula for comedy gold.

And it happened. Sort of. Except it was in New Zealand, a "country" with less people than Connecticut, but more sheep than, well, a country with 59,999,999 million sheep, because New Zealand has 60 million. And it wasn't Matt Lauer, but the Kiwi equivalent: Paul Henry, the co-host of New Zealand national morning show Breakfast. Allen is a controversial host who once called Susan Boyle a retard who was starved of oxygen at birth. (Actual quote: "Here's the really interesting revelation: she is in fact retarded ... and if you look at her carefully, you can make it out.")

If we're playing "Who's the Retard," Susan Boyle is the Rhodes Scholar.

Guy Williams (not the Lost in Space Guy), a 22-year-old who won a comedy contest on a youth entertainment show, Quest for Fame, set up a website advocating whale death. Despite the site looking like it was created in five minutes by an Amish man, it led to a newspaper interview, which led to the Breakfast interview.

While waiting to go on the air, Mr. Williams (posing as "Jay Pryor") met New Zealand Prime Minister John Key and posed for a picture with him in the Green Room. But ask yourself what the Breakfast producers apparently didn't: does this kid look like a spokesman for a Commercial Whaling Group?

"We're a non-profit lobbying group supporting commercial whaling." So ridiculous.

I like the taste of whale meat, so I heartily approve of this prank.
