"They tek our jerbs!" is the battle cry of the anti-immigrant activist, which is often confusing, because the only jobs the complainer seems qualified for are:
a) Celebrity lookalike for the giant boulder that tried to kill Indiana Jones
b) Reference libraries of genetic flaws
c) Confederate flag polishing
...and immigrants don't get paid for those. They don't take jobs, they're given the ones that we don't want to do anymore, and that's the idea behind TakeOurJobs.org.

Three out of four farm workers were born abroad, and more than half are illegal immigrants, so this is the chance for anti-immigrant protestors to take back some of those valuable American jobs. All you need is a desire to work incredibly long hours in the blazing sun for less than the minimum wage -- and, of course, the desire to keep American jobs filled by Americans!
The "Take Our Jobs" campaign will be backed by Stephen Colbert next month, offering unemployed Americans the chance to apply for the thousands of agricultural jobs that open up each harvest season. Bask in triple-digit temperatures! Ample opportunities for promotion, where "promotion" means "more work because your colleagues collapsed from heat exhaustion!" No overtime! Attract lunatic comments every time your job is discussed online, by people using computers you'll never be able to afford!
Fans of fun and idiocy should look forward to a nuclear firestorm when this prank campaign hits The Colbert Report on July 8, 2010.

I signed up my son on that site the other day. He'll be 21 next month and has had over a year to find a job after flunking out of community college, but all he has done is run up his bills and play video games. Come August 1, he'll be evicted from his apartment and homeless. I told him he can't come live with me, so I signed him up to pick spinach and Shakespeare in California.
I don't think he believed me, but I told him to be expecting a call.
